Your Favorite Final Fantasy Character

Personally i've always favored ViVi from FF9.i don't know why but he's the most interesting to me.ViVi is also one of the most heavily developed character in that game.ViVi is also one of the most hardcore Magic using Final Fantasy characters in the series.For some reason he also got like 1/4th a disk in the original FF9.My final reason is because he is mostly designed from the original BlackMage from FF1.

I adored Vivi when I was younger. Mass of power in a vunerable shell, that looked all the more badass when he set fire to one of the Black Waltzes.

I think, since I played Crisis Core Zack's my favourite character. He's likable while not trancending into sadness all the time. Although he could be painfully naive at times, he was a good character.

His death was a real freaking surprise, as I played CC before FFVII.

Probably an odd choice, but I'd have to go with Seifer from FF8. I could really emphasize with his motives. On the one hand hes kind of a tragic figure whose desire to chase after his dreams was used to manipulate him, on the other hand he refused to give up even after he found out that he was being used. He's a good enough guy to inspire strong friendship and loyalty in Fuujin and Rajin, but he's also an irredeemable jerkass and a cocky bastard. I couldn't really point out one specific reason why I like him so much, but I do.

Cid from FF7 was cool too. "Shut up and drink your goddamn tea!"

Rikku from Final Fantasy X because she is so *drools* perrrrfect. They kinda made her dress like a whore in the next one, but that's okay I guess. I prefer the FFX version.

Basically, she's the one I would like to have in my party if I were in an RPG, for a companion and for her skills.

Embarking on any epic fantasy adventure is so much more enjoyable when the hero has a happy, upbeat attitude. My enjoyment of the winding story and the sprawling world tends to take a considerable hit whenever I have to take along some idiot (say, Squall) whose only real contribution is to constantly nag about everything like a whiny little *****. ("Bwaaaaaaah! I'm tired, I'm hungry, I'm cold, I'm bored, I'm emo, everything sucks, nobody cares about any of the above...")

(Yeah, I know Squall is a more complex character than what he seems at the outset, but still - 80 hours of that attitude gets BORING!)
