I'm not quite sure what motivated this poll. It somewhat implies that everyone's favorite game does have guns...

Well, very few of my favorite games feature any guns at all, so I'll just put up my favorite game overall, Baldur's Gate 2.

Lineage 2: Chronicle 3 for me. It is a favourite of mine anyway.

@ KidRambo

You forgot about Noel Vermillion. She technically uses guns.

Assassin's Creed ftw!

I was going to say Portal until I remembered the turrets.

I would have to go with Tenchu, pretty much all of them. They are great games which could be even better with a decent sized studio behind them.
Nice, i totally forgot that game. I played the first one on the PS1 and it was also one of the best games around ninjas ever. Now that you're saying the other games are great too, i'll try to get a copy of them.

Big thanks for the reminder :)

Populous: The Beginning. Morrowind's been mentioned. I would say Might and Magic VI/VII, but they have those friggin' blasters that ruin everything (opinion) so I can't. >:
I know... Why the hell did they bring the whole blaster and space ship thing into the mix? Might and Magic VIII was pretty damn good but I can't remember if it had cannons or anything in it. Heroes III and IV were also both really good. I'm such a damn old school Might and Magic junkie.
I'm not sure why, I never got a chance to play VIII, nor the ones before VI. IX was, well, the unspoken one that should never have existed (if you ask me, at least). Admittedly, VI/VII were some of the best games ever until you got the blasters, luckily. So much to do, so many places to explore. I recently got TCC and BDJ's mods for both VI and VII, it's a fresh breath of life.

They are somewhat similar up until the latest: Tenchu Z. Although the game mechanics are more or less the same you do not play as either Rkimarue or Ayame, instead you get to create your own ninja which is awesome. There are also a few nice tweaks they have made to the game.
