No one I know has ever heard of Persona 3. Or any PC exclusive.
Persona 3 was one of the best RPGs I've ever played. So, I'd like to introduce myself, as someone you now know who has heard of (and loves) Persona 3. Similarly, Master of Orion was one of my first forays into turn-based strategy, and it's a PC exclusive. Yay.

On Topic:

The Fire Emblem series, especially the ones for the GBA. They got decent sales, but for games which take the concept of "strategy RPG" and wipe the floor with crap like Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced (not only in gameplay, but in story, and atmosphere), it didn't get nearly the amount of praise it should have.

Any of the Total War games (I didn't like Rome as much, truth be told), but especially Medieval.

Super Mario RPG. Still one of the greatest RPGs ever created. Words can't do it justice. It's doubly sad because anyone can play it due to emulation.

Dragon Seed: Okay, it wasn't as good as I thought it was when I was younger, but it was still a damned good game. You raise dragons from their infancy to adulthood, training and battling them. Think Pokemon, but with a slightly more simple concept (one dragon at a time), and less plot... Okay, so it kind of sucked.

Sorry to say it, but I hated The Dig. It seemed to place being 'artistic' and 'pretentious' above actually being fun.
See, I don't understand what the point of that post was other than to try and provoke me, and I don't know why you'd want to do that. I've never done anything to you to deserve that kind of tone. You're entitled to your opinion, of course, but I'm sure that if you're interested in actually discussing this you can choose much less caustic or personally insulting ways of getting your point across.

Why do you take personal insult that I didn't like a game? That seems somewhat odd...

So, so many.

Haegemonia: Legions of Iron on the PC
Dynasty Tactics 2 on the PS2
Future Cop: LAPD on the PSX
Drakengard on the PS2, not number 2 though, that was not as good.
Rise of Nations on the PC
Fate of the Dragon on the PC

I probably could go on, never been a sucker for mainstream games.

It's too bad you can only get it 2nd hand or on Steam now, because the games manual was HILARIOUS and added alot of backround information.

Despite it's appearances, this is a fun and hilarious 3ps. It has a gun that shoots sharks.

Madworld. It had a good deal of hype and I LOVED it, but sales were piss-poor and I never hear anyone talk about it.
Currently playing it, a very pleasent surprise.

I expected it to be fun for a short while until it gets repetitive and childish, but it is varied enough to stay fun and *GASP* it actually has a story!!

So yeah, i second that.

Also, i think the Colony Wars Series is completely underappreciated. Great scale, very playable (even with the D-Pad), kinda good story, fresh new ideas in every sequel and pretty much the only real good console space-action-sim game (well, maybe except for Starlancer on the Dreamcast) EVAR.

The announcement of a new installment for the PS3 would make me buy one instantly.
