Wow, I'm surprised there are so many people here listing gundams from G Gundam. I really thought I was the only person on the planet who liked that show.

Whenever I see it brought up, I always see alot of hate for it. It was cheesy and ridiculous... but in an epic kind of way.

If only wars were really fought like that! On the topic of steampunk, I also used to sometimes watch an anime show where the mechs were all speampunk knights and whatnot. Can't remember the name of it for the life of me, but at the time I thought it was awesome.

The Loki. My custom Loki was amaing. 2 rotary autocannons, MRMs and LRMs, artillery beacons, a battery of close and medium range lasers, upgraded engine so it could run in and just mess up your day before getting out, leaving your mechs HEAVILY damaged. That was fun.

The robotech VF-1J was also fun.

Western mechs are ugly tin cans that are more like walking coffins. These are elegant things of beauty.

I like my Mechs like I like my action hero's, ugly gruff & tough. Western Mechs are the John Waynes and the Clint Eastwoods of the robot world. You're robots are more like pop stars and Twilight pretty boys.

Yeah, I went there!

Eastern mechs are Bruce Lee. Quick and lethal. Who would school either of those guys in a fight.
