I like the Deagle, from any game and real life. The new M4680 which was the innovation in assualt rifles. The AWM (aka AWP from CS and Source), the M40A3 and the Remington 700, the DSR-1, the defunct XM8 and AK-47.

If I may add fictional weapons, which I will, then I would have to say that the Railguns from quake 3- Territory Wars, were awesome, the Railgun from MGS4 because it is an awesome rendition of real world tech in a fictional stealth game, and that is all I can think of ATM.

OH yeah I forgot about that, but you entrust wikipedia for every little detail? I have seen the prototypes of them, but never in combat, probably of the dangers that come with such a weapon. I would like to see on on the field which is portable for a person to carry.

They're not for personal use, of course. They're much too big.
They mount them on destroyers now, they have the same range and power and accuracy as a cruise missile.

you do realize that more people died that year of car wrecks. As for a fire arms usefullness I'd hardly call a 150 pound house wife a match for 200 pound home invader even if she dose have a bat.

Serious question, why do car crashes invalidate the lives of 55'000 people who were killed by something else?

Less serious question. Would a 150lb housewife be able to operate a gun with the kind of precision and speed needed to hit a 200lb invader even he wasn't armed? Assuming she could hit him would she be able to operate one powerful enough to actually stop him as well?

I miss the M240B I lugged around in Basic. It was heavy as hell, but that weapon laid down some heat. Still have a scar from the barrel.

When it comes to fantasy guns, however, Portal Gun is the way to go.

Mark-19 Automatic Grenade Launcher, Called it the blaaaat gun, it fires in a series of thunks, and the rounds impact with a rolling "BLAAAAAAAAAT" sound.

Can't go wrong with an automatic grenade launcher.

The Match is better because its the gun Gordan Freeman uses to slaughter thousands.

The Match is also the gun that Lara Croft uses, but unfortunately, it was discontinued in 1999.
