The (new) Karate Kid, with jackie chan. the movie feels more real when the the sensei knows real kung-fu, plus the acting was better than the first and is much more touching.
Not only do I vote the for same movie, I had every intention of showing this exact clip! That's a double-ninja...Kenbo Slice said:Ip Man, that movie rocks.
Yeah I agree, Donnie Yen is a pretty good actor. Have you seen Ip Man 2 yet?linkblade91 said:Not only do I vote the for same movie, I had every intention of showing this exact clip! That's a double-ninja...Kenbo Slice said:Ip Man, that movie rocks.
What really makes Ip Man my favorite kung fu movie is that the story is not just a weak excuse to create fight scenes. The narrative has heart, and Donnie Yen displays believable emotions that make me care about him as a character. And watching an anger-driven Ip Man completely destroy ten black belts is something to behold.
I have, but I found the movie to be weaker than the first, quite honestly. It lacked much of the emotional weight of the original Ip Man.Kenbo Slice said:Yeah I agree, Donnie Yen is a pretty good actor. Ugh I know, that fight was really weak. It pissed me off when they're all "Oh you can't kick because that's unfair to the boxer." The boxer wanted to prove who's better and he bans kicks to give him a slight advantage. That was bullshit. BULLSHIT!linkblade91 said:I have, but I found the movie to be weaker than the first, quite honestly. Besides, ten black belts > an English prick boxer, any day of the week.

Is it much better than the first movie? Because I found that one to be horrifyingly awful to watch.Geo Da Sponge said:I'm not sure whether you're being serious or not, but in either case that is genuinely my answer as well.NightmareLuna said:Kung Fu Panda 2... Hands down the best.
