The (new) Karate Kid, with jackie chan. the movie feels more real when the the sensei knows real kung-fu, plus the acting was better than the first and is much more touching.

Ip Man, that movie rocks.

Not only do I vote the for same movie, I had every intention of showing this exact clip! That's a double-ninja...

What really makes Ip Man my favorite kung fu movie is that the story is not just a weak excuse to create fight scenes. The narrative has heart, and Donnie Yen displays believable emotions that make me care about him as a character. And watching an anger-driven Ip Man completely destroy ten black belts is something to behold.

Yeah I agree, Donnie Yen is a pretty good actor. Have you seen Ip Man 2 yet?

I have, but I found the movie to be weaker than the first, quite honestly. It lacked much of the emotional weight of the original Ip Man.

Besides, ten black belts > an English prick boxer, any day of the week.

Ugh I know, that fight was really weak. It pissed me off when they're all "Oh you can't kick because that's unfair to the boxer." The boxer wanted to prove who's better and he bans kicks to give him a slight advantage. That was bullshit. BULLSHIT!

Legend of the Drunken Master, Enter the Dragon, Fist of Fury and Kung Fu Panda. :p

Rumble in the Bronx was the first Kung Fu movie I ever saw, and while it's hilarious and incredibly awesome, it's not quite in the same league as these others.

I know you mean the new movie, but I still wish you were trolling.

My fave would be... Probably a Jackie Chan film. I liked The Armour of God, as well as his later works such as Rumble in the Bronx and Gorgeous.

Honorable mentions to Bruce Lee's Way of The Dragon.

Comedy is my cup of tea. :D
I see alot of non-Kung Fu, what the hell is wrong with you people?

the matrix doesnt count as a kung fu movie, and Ong Bak (thought good itself) is Tai Boxing. Just because some films have something Kung Fu related in the title, doesnt make it a Kung Fu movie.

my top list:
Drunken Master
Shaolin
Fearless
Hero
Seven Swords
Fist of the White Lotus
Kung Fu Pandas
anything from the 8 Diagram Collection
and all the ones I have not seen on this list http://www.kungfu-movie-madness.com/kungfumovies.html

I love Kung Fu, Wushu, wuxia, Eastern, whatever style or genre you'd prefer to call it. And I love you all for loving it as well.
Hopefully one day I will come to your school, and we will finally see who has the best!

Snake and Tiger-Crane, Dragon-Monkey Stance
Iron Vest, Stone Hands, Shaolin Razor-Dance
Challengers step up, sign your waiver, take a chance
Grasshopper:
meet the sun, The One, whose style is too advanced.
I study Northern Longfist with roots in Shaolin, some Southern Boxing and a few other forms my Sifu thought would be good in my hands.
bring it biatch <3

Kung Fu Panda 2... Hands down the best.
I'm not sure whether you're being serious or not, but in either case that is genuinely my answer as well.
I mean, it made me tear up in the cinema! It was awesome!
Is it much better than the first movie? Because I found that one to be horrifyingly awful to watch.

Ignore the last bit of this video ... please

I know it isn't kung fu but it's awesome! (spoiled a little by the breaking noise)

One 4 min shot!

Enter the Dragon. Bruce Lee is a secret agent who infiltrates a drug kingpin's martial arts tournament to avenge his sister. Also, said drug kingpin as interchangeable prosthetic hands and there's a final fight in a hall of mirrors. Fuckin' A.
