Happy Love Songs or sad love songs? ......I don't have many happy that i can think of.

Slide - Goo Goo Dolls
Bat Out of Hell - MeatLoaf
You Took The Words Right Outta My Mouth - MeatLoaf
Alive With The Glory of Love - Say Anything

...... sadly that's the happiest I have. But as an overall favorite, Demolition Lovers - My Chemical Romance

Nothing says "I love you" more than sticking around.

Sad and moving, I love it. Even better because it's by Daft Punk!

You know I can't smile without you.
Thanks Hellboy2! Barry Manilow has fantastic love songs.

Well I've got several love songs that I like. Of course I'm not one for the "typical" love song (too mushy for me), so they aren't exactly "romantic".

Depeche Mode's Strangelove. What can I say, I like my love strange!

Cake's Love You Madly. Kind of self-explanatory. I like my love to be a bit mad.

Social Distortion cover of "Ring of Fire". Now I like Cash's vocals alot more, but overall I like this version of the song above the original.

Motörhead's In the Black. Yes, Motörhead. I like my metal. Why can't I have a metal love song?

I Wanna be Your Dog by The Stooges, or Madaromme no Rinne by Eri Kawai. Totally different feels to both, but i really like both.

Just a quick rundown, since there are far too many to really think overlong on the topic.

George Harrison - Something
Yoko Kanno/Ilara Graziano - I do(I don't know if this is a love song, but it is the most beautiful piece of music I've ever heard.)
Billy Joel - She's Got a Way
Rod Stewart - Have I Told You Lately
Dido - Thank You
Van Morrison - Brown Eyed Girl
Jim Steinman/Meatloaf - I Would do Anything for Love (But I Won't do That)
The Who - Real Good Looking Boy

Paul McCartney - For No One
Mika - Happy Ending
Queen - Save Me
Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip - Look for the Woman

The last few aren't specifically about love, but more about the after-affects of love. Both very touching pieces, but not especially happy.

One far more cynical than I.

Though she did enjoy the song in one instance. When I showed her AMV Hell 0, she laughed at the use of that song...or at my grimacing.
