Your favorite moments in Minecraft.

I thought it would be fun to know what other peoples favorite moments were in Minecraft. Was it jumping off a cliff into the ocean to escape a bunch of creepers? Were you pig-surfing your way to your Notch shrine via underground rivers? Or were you just walking up a hill back to your house, only to witness a beautiful sunset illuminate the randomly generated landscape?

The day I finished my town complete with 6 different biome-arenas, was the day i truly lived.

I recently finished my 16 block wide, island-spanning underground canal, connecting my giant castle and my giant underground fortress on the other side. Complete with chests full of boats on either end.

dug a huge fuck off mine that took about 10 minutes to reach the bottom, and midway through, i accidentally dug into lava. i had to outrun it though my mine and get permanently trapped in a safe room

I found this absolutily MASSIVE cave, it had EVERYTHING, Coal, Iron, Gold, Lapis Lazuli, redstone, and even DIAMONDS! The best part is, the entrance was right next to my spawn!

I have two, first when my friends showed me has island he competently destroyed then rebuilt it and made it hollow and full of traps.. And second when I found a gigantic lava pool and boarding on a lake with waterfalls sounding it...it was epic!

The day I made my first 5 x 6 cottage. I was so proud!

But really, I have just made a massive cathedral with purrty windows, flying buttresses, and more.

I love it.

I once built a big wooden tower near my home so I could find my way back when I die. It was pretty big, but I hesitate to guess at its exact size. It was 2x3 blocks and took at least two full wooden plank stacks to finish, if that helps you visualize. Anyway, sometime soon after I found some lava and wanted to play with it a bit. I went outside my tower and found a creeper to burn. It was very satisfying seeing him burn up. I scooped the lava back into my bucket (which is still a WTF), but it didn't all go away. "Okay," I though, "I'll go grab another bucket and double my lava!"

I come back outside with two buckets to see a giant column of flame-engulfed wood where my tower was. I broke down in hysterical laughter; it was awesome.

I also built a big minecart track in the air leading from my spawn to the new tower (also foolishly wooden). Weirdly, though, my world was deleted for seemingly no reason. I thought, "Okay, whatever. I'll just start over," and I did this. But I spawned in full view of a wooden tower with a cobblestone bridge extending from it. I had my world back (No idea how), but now the spawn train was useless!

Finding my first diamond after fighting bunch of zombies and skeletons in cave (just got Minecraft yesterday).

Of course, to balance this, i've been killed by lava when trying to get to redstone above lava river...

As of right now: when I finally connected my 7 portals in the nether with a safe tunnel system.
Once I'm done with my 25x25x10 cobblestone room in the nether, filled with green colored wool as grass and light-blue colored wool as the sky, and with 10-ish trees in it, that will be my favorite moment.

when i built my big ass caslti used half a double chest full of 64 stack couble on a artificail iliand of dirt which to a quarter of a double chest.............i had alot of coble

I have a home on a plateau with obsidian walls and a giant Texas Tech double T on top. Additionally I have hollowed out the plateau and made walls of glass around it.

Also, I found a desert biome.

You know whats was a funny part? When I sliped and fell a hundred feet and died, after playing for 5 FUCKING hours and having to start the whole FUCKING game again.

Uh, Minecraft has a respawn system. You never die for good.

But I lost all my progress and items. And I struggeld for 5 hours before to get all that stuff.

Just making your first proper house and learning all about things like smelting. I was really happy to discover glass. It meant now I could see the monsters instead of just hearing them growl repeatedly outside
