Japanamai move spam much...

something everyone knows: Shrek 1, appeals to little kids whilst being loaded with little adult 'tee hee's' such as Lord Far Quad ^.^
I would've said Shrek if it hadn't been for my little nephews obsessive love of that movie... every time I woke up at 2pm, it was playing. when it ended... it started over... and over... and over, until 10pm, when everyone but me went to sleep and I could go back to peace and quiet.

I honestly enjoyed The Incredibles, but I like movies about super-powered jerks, call me crazy.

The Triplets of Belleville.
Last time I watched that I was like 13, I probably should check it out again now that I'm older so I can actually appreciate it for being more than just a cartoon with cool music.

I'm probably gonna have to go with The Girl Who Jumped Through Time though.

Ninja Scroll... one of the only japanese animated movies that I thought got it ALL right
Ninja scroll was baddass! But the tv series wasn't as good though. But the movie was a hard act to follow. I heard rumors ninja scrolls 2 but i am not holding my breath.

Animation back then was usually awesome. But FernGully: The Last Rainforest holds a place in my heart... Say what you will of me, but that has always been a favorite of mine and probably always will be.

I'm pretty stumped for ideas at the moment, but probably the last good non Disney/Pixar film that was in the traditional 2D sense was Steamboy, I rented it one night and it was the best (And only) Anime film I've ever sat through. There are a few more on the tip of my tongue, but like I said I've got some kind of mind block.

The Secret Of Nimh!! Actually, everything Don Bluth from back then, but Nimh being my favourite of them. Oh yeah, and Heavy Metal is pretty damn kickass, too.

What else did Pixar do? Toy Story? (Googles it). Yes they did, then I'll say that. I absolutely loved that movie as a kid, so unique and just awesome in general. I'll definitely see the third one when it comes out.

hmm damn all of them have already been stated although I did also like "Fist of the Northern Star" its a bit dated now but the ending really appealed to me.
