OP: you could try fallout 1 and 2 planescape:torment icewind dale starcraft1 warceaft 1 and 2 desus ex system shock Jedi academy jedi outcast rise of nations plants vs zombies evil genius tales of monkey island sam and max hit the road stronghold 1 there a wide variety from a wide variety of genres my old favs are the isometric rpgs they waste alot of time and are good fun albeit some have huge learning curves

Starcraft and half life, of course. I would also strongly reccomend the commandos saga, fallout:1,2, and tactics, and some good old command and conquer games. Maybe Civ III.

Black and White. It was a rather strange title by Lionhead where you controlled a omnipotent hand and raised a creature to be good or evil. Your actions and well as your creatures would change your hand's as well as your creature's physical appearance.

Not really. The two are different in that Black and White was actually good. You could use god powers like fireballs, lightning and such. On top of that, your creature could learn them as well.
