...of course now he is a legit hero who saves the universe on a day to day basis, free of charge (and recognition)...

He doesn't just save the universe, he protects the entire DC timeline

Well, yeah, by protecting the entire timeline, he pretty much saving the entire universe...

and to a certain degree the multi-verse...

since everything revolves around new earth... or something like that...the damn moniters of nil are confussing
