Yup; it's the only good Simpsons game, IMO.

I seem to recall playing some form of Gauntlet in an arcade...If my memory serves me right, that would have been the most fun I had in an arcade.

Time Crisis, Virtua Cop and Point Blank. However, my all time favourite is the House of the Dead series. Especially THOTD3. It had shotguns. With grenade launchers. What's not to love? Plus it was the first THOTD game to feature a hot chick as a main character (no, not G...). And FTR, yes, I am an FPS and rail shooter nut. Plus, since I have weapons training I find rail shooters in arcades to be a lot easier than most games, or maybe that's just me...

Because I love me some Time Crisis - I even made a special trip to Vancouver to play 4 - and was 100% disappointed and bummed out by it.

Tempest was extremely good, as was Battlezone [http://games.atari.com/arcade.php?game=battlezone] . I think both of those were by Atari, but Gorf was possibly my favourite for a couple of years.
