Dig Dug got me through Driver's Ed (through the boredom by having it in the breakroom).
Any of the Time Crisis games.

Whoa! That brings back some memories, thanks for posting. Funny to think that the graphics looked really impressive back then. Shame it's only really playable with the wheel though.

Also, if anyone knows where to find one of those Guns N' Roses pinball machines, let me know.

I miss that thing so damn much.

That game was so awesome, yet it never got ported to a console. The best I could get was a dodgy MAME emulation.

Spikeout is also another person fav; along with Virtua Cop 2

However nothing can beat the nostalgic splendor of Double Dragon.

I forgot to mention the two Dungeons and Dragons sidescrolling beat 'em up games: Tower of Doom and Shadow over Mystara. I was a huge D&D nerd at the time (as opposed to just being a regular nerd now) and I would pour quarters into these games.

Time Crisis.
Love those games.
Add a "2" on there and you win.
I love them all!
Even 4?

Because I love me some Time Crisis - I even made a special trip to Vancouver to play 4 - and was 100% disappointed and bummed out by it.
Admittedly 4 gets less love, but I do still love em all!

Time Crisis
House of The Dead
Mortal Kombat (screw Street Fighter)

I forget what this is call but you get an internet cookie if you guess. It was something like you were in a helicoper and you had to shoot rioters that when they were damaged the looked like Terminators. Thanks for your help.

I think we can all agree that Time Crisis: Project Titan was the worst one, but I think that was more the fault of the Guncon than anything else.
I used to absolutely adore that one!
Admittedly I haven't played it in a long time.

You beat me to it! Those were my fav's too!
I also adored Three Wonders, or at least a third of it - "Midnight Wanderers" has to be one of the most beautiful and playable platformers of it's time. Was a real treat re-playing it on the PSP - Capcom had the good taste of including it in one of their compilations.

Oh, that's right - I LOVED the first Robocop arcade game back in the late 80's. It was sooo cool when I was 12.:)
