Comedy. For people who are often considered to be cold and reserved, the British tend to produce some of the finest comedians the world has ever seen. Heck, Rowan Atkinson and the Monty Python troupe alone deserve entire monuments to be built in their honour for how much they contributed to Britain's recognition around the world.

Although, to be honest, Britain has some awesome actors in general.

My experiences show their their the only ones who can keep up to my drinking, so that's an attribute.

Also, all the ones I personally know are ridiculously cool, so that's good I guess.

The fact that your countries National grid runs, like 40% on Nuclear power. I don't know why but that impresses me. Other than that, British Humor, Top Gear, Yahtzee, and the English Language. Plus.....women with British accents are so ridiculously GODDAMN Hot!

I like how people go on about how much booze the brits drink, and we don't really care. We know we do, we just get on with it.

An i agree with the comedy, i always hear about foreign people saying we are funny.

And that we are thee most moany faced buggers on the plannet. Too hot, too cold, we want snow, too much snow, where's the sun ahh there it is , now where the shade? I find it amusing.

I'm Scottish by the way so i'm allowed to say these things about Britain
Fuck yeah High Five! Or some such other pseudo American celebration.

The thing I love most about Britain and Scotland in particular is not the fact there are pubs, but the fact there are a disproportionate number of pubs. In fact I live in the hell hole that is Coatbridge and not five minutes walk up the road from where I live(which is the literal edge of Coatbridge) there are 5 pubs, 4 of them are on the same side of the street. About 10 minutes walk from the last pub, still walking away from my house there are 5 club/bars and another pub.if you take the long way back you will encounter another 5 pubs on the way before reaching the street with 5 pubs on it which is the only southbound way out of Coatbridge.

In short there are 11 pubs and 5 clubs within walking distance of entrance to Coatbridge, not to mention the grange hotel which is also right at the entrance and which also has a bar.

I also quite like the fact we take patriotism to ridiculous levels at any chance we get.
I wouldn't also like to mention that the goddamned snow is back here and it will surely do my tits in.

British things I HATE?

Their feeling of superiority over Americans because they "invented" the English language (even though they just bastardized it from other languages) and they fact that they think all Americans are fat rednecks.

The Beatles. I fucking hate the Beatles. Except George Harrison...he's cool in my book.

The way British always "assess the situation" everywhere (then do something that's probably bonkers) . The fact that you have the best and the worst women I have ever met. The fact that in season there's not a bolder in France whithout two Britts leaning over it and moaning about "the horrid tea they serve here" . Byron, Keats, Shelly, god-damn bloody GEORGE ORWELL! Oh, and if nobody said Keira Knightley yet, then we, my fellow male Escapist may have a problem as a comunity :)
