Also, if there were a Stargate game that involved Ba'al, he'd be my favorite videogame villain cause Ba'al is fucking awesome.
What no love for Anubis? he was seriously one fucked up bad guy, and had an army of Kull warriors which = awesome. Although I have to admire Ba'al for being incredibly creative and smart.
Anubis was just an evil half ascended freak. Ba'al is a creative, cunning, witty, funny, self-centered, charismatic badass with the most epic voice since George Takei. Big Difference.

Luca Blight from Suikoden II.
Taking that bastard down was one of the most cathartic gaming experiences of my childhood. The guy was a complete and total monster. And a really hard-to-kill one, at that.

Nah... But he is also awesome.

The scene where Anakin Skywalker walks in to the Jedi Academy to kill all the Padawans must have been stolen from Warcraft 3. You know when Arthas "visits" his father

I doubt that, they really don't have many simularities.

Whilst play GDI on C&C, Kane is my favourite villain, he's a good adversary, he has charisma that draws people towards him and follow him, he believes with out fault in what he does, he is a outstanding villain.
I grew up fighting this guy! I've never had more fun fighting against anyone or anything else... except maybe C.A.B.A.L., he was just a pain in the ass though.

I was about to name someone else untill I read this post. Kane was brilliant! Wether he was being defeated or not, he didnt mind. because it was all part of his plan.

Fun fact: Kane's actor is really cool anf funny guy IRL. Try looking up some of the behind the scenes stuff from tiberium wars on youtube.

My second option would be Luka Blight from Suikoden II. That guy was horribly powerful, ruthless and insane. Having innocent villagers lined up waiting to be slain by him one by one. His army unit singlehandedly fights his way out of an ambush you made for him, and in the end you needed 2 6-man parties to defeat him. And when he's finally defeated, theres no dramatic final speech or such. He just laugh maniacally and drops dead, stealing any sense of accomplishment you had over finally killing this sick bastard, and leaving you with the empty feeling of loss over all the people he killed.

The search button. Becouse apperently it IS REALLY HARD FOR SOME PEOPLE TO DEFEAT IT AND CLICK ON IT!!!

That being said, Andrew Ryan
Yeah, because why make a fresh new topic that people will post in when you can bump a 19 page topic from a week ago that no one will even bother entering to read your post let alone respond to or discuss it.

Honestly this whole "use the search button" thing has gotten out of hand to say the least.

I'm really surprised that everyone's saying Wesker. Sure, he may have been a great surprise villain in the first game, but in the other games (I've only played the numbered series, so I may be wrong) he was silly, if only because of his Matrix-like abilities and outrageous accent.

Seymour from FFX is often overlooked, simply because he's a blue-haired Sephiroth clone. However, what clinches it for me is...

he uses his own mother as an aeon. She turned herself into the ultimate aeon to make him happy, and to help him become Sin. Also, he tried to marry Yuna, and she even agreed to do it (for a while). He just comes off as more of a magnificent bastard than Sephiroth.
