The Australians in WWII were pretty bad ass.

George Washington was sort of a bad ass. He stopped a coup d'tat that would have made him King of the United States. He told his soldiers, "Do you think I expelled George III so that I could become George I?"

For me, it's a toss up between Teddy Roosevelt or Giuseppe Garibaldi.

Roosevelt because he was awesome, his life perfectley summed up by a politician on his deathbed:
"Death had to take him sleeping, for if Roosevelt had been awake there would have been a fight."
Also... he had a pet lion and a pet bear. Gotta love it.

Garibaldi (A hero of Italian unification for those who don't know) because he kicked all sorts of ass. He Went all over the world like no ones business, fighting in a literal shit ton of battles, learning guerilla warfare in South America. There's even an account of him boarding a ship, saying he's now in command and shooting the captain to prove he wasn't fucking around.

So who do you think is the greatest badass of all time?

GARIBALDI'S CRY FOR BISCUIT REVOLUTION!!!!!!!

and probably Alexander the Great, the ultimate badass :)
conquering most of the known world and keeping it together
And then choking to death on his own puke.

Battlestar Galactica. not even hard
Wasn't intended to be hard. Just take this damn unobtainium, I'm sick of this war, I don't want to be a Marine anymore! It's all so... senseless!

Socrates. Dude waged psychological warfare on an entire city, then chose to kill himself over admitting he was wrong.

That chinese guy who got shot in the eye with an arrow, pulled the arrow out WITH HIS EYE, and AT HIS OWN EYEBALL! Then he kept fighting. I can't think of his name at the moment.

First is Hans Ulrich Rudel, a Nazi Luftwaffe pilot, he had skills.

Second is Francisco Pizarro. Conquered Peru with only 200 men, win? I think so.

Third and last has to be General George Smith Patton. Revolutionizing the way we fought war and a strategical genius.

John Paul Jones, he was a Scottish naval captain during the American Revolution.
In one battle with the British, his own ship was sunk and so he and his crew boarded the British ship, captured it, and sailed back to shore with it. He was famous were saying during the battle "I have not yet begun to fight!"

Mulan.

I don't care if she wasn't real!
Based on a real person, but the real one was actually a rebel against the government at the time (can't remeber which dynasty).

I'd chose Boudica. I know she screwed some stuff up badly and lost because of it, but she was still badass.
