When i first started using the internet a lot at around 12/13 I kept using the same username fir everything - Flamezdudes. I kinda hate it now because it looks so childish but using it is a habit and I can't be arsed to pay to change my username here.

It's about the same for me.

I use it for practically everything, because coming up with a different one now would feel like having to buy into another ridiculous sounding nickname. So I'd rather just to stick to the one I have now.

I watched this film the other day, and this scene in particular stood out to me.

I think it's the absolute total tension as they just stand there looking at each other, and then it's over in a flash, almost before it's even begun. Quality.

Fits perfect.. and the "Jump into the dry fountain"-scene is so damn... OUCH, man

I know it's not technically a shootout, but it contains guns being shot and I'm going to count it, because it's my thread, so suck it. Watch the entire thing, it's one long shot, and it's absolutely incredible how they did it.

Children of Man has really great scenes, the part where he goes inside that building filled with resistence is great.

OT: I have recently watched Haywire, and those fights are just brutal, they feel so real. Even the chase scene is very well done, and the camera doesnt even shake

I definitely love the fight scene in Crisis Core. The three of them (though mainly Genesis and Sephiroth) fighting is just epic.

Yeah, and that bit where he kills Syd with a car battery... ouch. It was so quick and brutal that it hurt to watch.

I've always been one for the subtle undercurrents going on behind the fight myself... So I nominate Persona 4's Yosuke vs Main Character max Social Link friendship brawl!

Or even better full on no physical combat mind games. K, the Chess scene in Episode 11 in Code Geass R2. Skip to like 2:30/3:00 or so if you don't care for introductions



Not too spoilerish, it's a perfect character defining moment for Lulu.

As much as I like Code Geass, That's not a fight scene; that's a character development scene with the context of chess match. It's a drama scene, not a fight scene.

OT: the entirety of the "The Raid: Redemption", because 90% of that movie is fighting. It's like a old-school beat um up game.
