Basketball forever and ever.
Anything short of NBA-level basketball i find ridiculous.
(Anything as in everything besides the NBA and I)

Basketball for me, why because its enjoyable to watch and I play basketball IRL but not for a college sadly. Sadly I also have horrible luck and my favorite teams are always bad or incredibly average (damn you new york knicks) so I don't usually watch sports as often as id like.
I hear becoming a Lakers/Boston/Chicago fan might help with that issue.
Heh, go back a few years and being a Boston fan wasn't all that fun(I should know, having been one for quite a few years now), but the big trades that were made + getting Rondo a couple of years ago certainly helped turned things around. For that matter, the same can be said about Chicago, after Jordan and until they got Rose they were nothing. Now they're one the best. The only thing that worries me about Celtics is when Garnett, Pierce and Allen retires, somethings has to be done. As good as Rondo is, for Celtics to continue being a top team he needs help.

Anyway, as for the topic, my two favourite sports are basketball(NBA), where I follow the Boston Celtics and hockey(NHL), where I follow Detroit Red Wings. Whichever is my favourite tends to shift from year to year, though hockey does have a slight edge for me, at least for the time being.

Other sports I follow are soccer(FC Barcelona) and Formula 1, where I mostly cheer for Jenson Button, though it's just fun following the races in general, no matter who wins.

Personally, Im a huge fan of squash. Its fast, intense, and athletic, but also really easy to play for fun without having to exert yourself too much. All depends on my mood, really.

Football for me. Why you say? My father is, and has been since long before I was born, a Manchester United fan. For a long time I completely hated all sports, but in 2006 I was a particularly antagonistic 14 year old, and thus decided to support Chelsea just to get at my dad. After a while I actually came to rather enjoy watching football and have been a football and Chelsea fan since.

Rugby, but America INSISTS that 'Football' is the superior sport. Blasphemy, I say. Rugby is the greatest sport ever invented.

Put me down as the second squash player answering this. It's quite a lot of good fun to play squash.

Simple question, what's your favourite sport, and why?

For me, Rugby, or swimming, is that a sport?

Rugby, because i like the team spirit, Swimming because water is calm and soothing.

So, yeah, favourite sport?
Motor Boating. Specifically your Mother.

Rugby.
Because it's the manliest (Major) sport.
And football is for wusses.
Aah yes Rugby. Where the entire game is spent wrestling other men to the ground in order to reach between their legs and grab their balls. So manly without a hint of latent homosexuality.

To play: Football/soccer, or possibly floorball.
To watch: Icehockey or above. Though handball is brilliant as well.

Floorball might be up there in watching category as well, haven't seen a game in ages. World Cups should be pretty boring though, since a grand total of 2 countries have ever won - Sweden 6 times and Finland 2 times.

After having played almost every sport, or at least every sport available to me, I can safely say that for me the most fun sport to play is Ultimate Frisbee

And like a lot of people, I scoffed at it before I tried it....
