I'm more of a fan of the good old My-Body-Can-Take-A-Lot-Of-Punishment style. In this style, I take punches and kicks willingly in order to land a hit on my opponent.

I'm six foot one, 250 pounds, and have lifted weights consistently since 7th grade. I was in wrestling for 9 years.

I may not be the best fighter, but I'm in great shape, can take a lot of punishment, and when I get close I will crush your ribcage with my bare hands.

I like to put sharp objects into the squishy parts of people's bodies...

Owait, did I say that out loud? >_>

Other than my "Run and Call the Cops" answer posted previously, assuming that I must fight, in real life I will likely have at best one of 2 goals, To either get away, or to put my opponent down by whatever means necessary. Hence I will use weapons, eye gouges, groin shots, fish hooks etc. whatever dirty fighting I need to do to either escape or win.

In games:

I prefer a kind of jack-of-all-trades style. As long as I mix it up, i.e. don't go head to head with powerful enemies and don't try to out-run speedsters, I can win.

In real life:

Tang Soo Do. I prefer punching and kicking, because I'm a little bit on the lanky side.

If we're talking about video games, my style is what I like to call "mid-distance." I'm by no means a sniper, but I'm also not rushing right into the fray.

If we're talking about real life, I've never been in a fight and I don't plan on getting in one. Fighting is stupid. It's not that I'm afraid, I've just never had any reason to fight anyone. Unless someone hit my girlfriend or mother or something like that, I just don't see the point.
I like to think I could hold my own in a fight, I'm 6'2" 215 lbs but that doesn't really mean anything. Who knows, I may just get my ass beat. In this day and age though, there are so many pussies who will pull out a gun or a knife instead of fighting like a man.

EDIT: I'd be willing to bet that most people in this thread haven't actually been in a fight in real life either. No offense.

THE ULTIMATE MRTIAL ART: Iron Will of the Pacifist!-IRL

in video games, I use guns whenever that's the option, or magics.

I'm the guy standing in the back shooting magic missiles while the warrior does the hard work.

I'll avoid fights by all means. I never initiate a brawl, usually there's a drunk guy looking for trouble who does it. I'm a smooth talker, so I've never really been in a serious fight. I've punched a guy in the face once, hit his nose which bled pretty badly, but aside from that nothing serious.

If pressed, though, I'd go for the Marduk approach, I.E. "I'll break your face!!", tackle them and punch away. I've been told that I possess the most evil angry look in the world when I'm angry, like my eyes are on fire. And I believe I can take a lot of hits before I hit the ground, so I wouldn't fight myself. Then again, I wouldn't fight anybody really...

Well, I'm very passive and waiting. Then unleash an array of quick but hard-hitting punches.
I boxed for a while, so that really affected the way I fight.

~ And yes, I'm in a fight club :))))
You NEVER talk about Fight Club!!!
However that may be the case, our fight club is heavily influenced from the movie; It's the same really, except with some protection gear, to keep you from major injuries.
I'm confused as to why you're still talking about Fight Club. The first rule of Fight Club, is that you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of fight club, is you DO NOT talk about Fight Club!

Kenpo, Kendo, Enshudo Jujitsu, Wrestling, and a little boxing.

In video games, however, I like to sneak up and fire away into the back of someone's head... With a sniper rifle. Then snipe everyone and their mother from said position.
