To be fair, I was still a kid when I played games like the original wolfenstine (sp), doom and even ROTT I played when they came out. Hey, I've played violent games before I was even in double digits, I should be a mass murder by now!

PS: I could say, being Australian, I have not technically played a 18+ game but that is just sad....

Before then I spent all my time playing Pokemon games and other games lol... I didn't play any M rated games for a long time. Then I got into PC gaming about two years ago...and now M rated games is all I play hahahah

Halo 2, about 2 years after it was released. My mom was very skeptical about M games and it took about a year of careful coaxing.

umm i do have jaws unleashed but i dont play it my mom is very skepical about me playing m rated game whereas my brother can with out not problem and he is only 1 year older than me

The first 18 that I properly played and completed was GTA: San Andreas.

Gosh, I am rather fond that game.

Probably the first Silent Hill. God damn that game freaked me out. I was only... 7 years old, I think.

My brother who was 18 when I was 7 got an GameCube for Christmas. We also had a Nintendo 64, Man I miss that thing, Anyway he got Resident Evil on the GameCube and let me watch him play and it freaked me out and I couldn't sleep for almost a month. That was the first M game I SAW the first M game I played was Perfect Dark on the N64 around the same time he got the GameCube. That's my story.

My first (that I played myself, not just watched) was Haunting Ground. I was a high school Freshman at the time and I got it because of the dog in it. It actually got me interested in survival horror games as a whole though (even though I sucked at the time) so that was an even bigger bonus.

Perfect Dark 64. This was when I was around... 9 or 10? My cousin rented it for me and it was the most amazing game I ever played. I told my mom that it was basically the same as Goldeneye that I played with my other friend except with blood and shouldn't really be rated M. I did believe that, anyways.

Yeah... That was my only M game for a while, because from around age 11 to 16, I wasn't allowed to buy or play them thanks to the media saying how GTA is a prostitute rape and kill simulator, and that all games rated M are just as bad.
