Claymore, about 6 months ago, I regret nothing.

I still believe it to be one of the greatest stories out there, up with A Game Of Thrones and such, and to have some of the very best characters I've ever seen.

The shows on adult swim were the first ones I saw. Dragonball Z, Tenchi, and Gundam Wing. The one that got me into anime was Vandread.

.hack//SIGN if you don't count Pokémon. I was heartbroken when I understood that the OP was in engrish and not japanese.

I think I saw it around 5 years ago.

EDIT: Wait, before SIGN and even Pokémon... There was fucking Sailor Moon. Jebus, how long ago was it? At least over a decade ago.

Firstly before I answer, I'm sorry. OK, now to the answer, Naruto. Yeah, I watched all these other animes like DBZ and Yugioh and Digimon etc on tv when I was younger (5-10 years old) but Naruto was the first series that I actively searched for and watched. And yes, I do know that it's shit and cliched now since I'm older. Also, fillers. God Damn fillers. Now I don't watch anymore anime.

Edit: If anyone has suggestions about anime that is good, message me and I'll see if I like it. I heard that Death Note was pretty cool.

Well, first was Dragon Ball... wich I wasn't into, being a little kid. Then came Sailor Moon. My friends liked it, I wasn't a big fan.

Then it hit me.

DRAGON BALL Z!!! Yeah. Anime fan since.

As a kid I watched pokemon, digimon, transformers, zoids, the usual suspects.

But once I found out what anime actually was, my first was Fullmetal Alchemist.

I can't quite remember, Sailor Moon, maybe. Although I might have seen some Speed Racer reruns before that. I remember my friends talking about Dragon Ball Z when I was in grade school, but I never really watched it until a while afterwards. I didn't watch TV frequently as a kid. My parents usually kicked me out of the house.

Ghost in the shell SAC.
I didnt really see a series until i was in my early 20s. Always liked the Ghost in the shell film and one of my friends mentioned that there was a tv series too.
Very shortly after that a different friend got me into Naruto which, sadly, I still watch

It was Sailor Moon though I didn't know that it was called anime at the thime. And it was in the 90's.

They don't show that much anime here in Sweden. Atleast not the good ones.

The first one where I clearly knew it was Anime was Neon Genesis Evangelion, round about 1998 or 99 or so.

The first Anime I actually saw? Probably "The Mysterious Cities of Gold"

That was round about... 1987 I guess. XD

The first one I watched was probably Pokemon. The first I watched all the way through was Digimon. The first one I watched that I actually recognized as anime was Gundam Seed.

Pokemon and Digimon dubbed on TV before I knew what anime was. First when I knew of the genre and I actively chose was Neon Genesis Evangelion.
