There was another anime on after it but I can't remember what it was called. I just remember it had a little pet that could turn into a huge space ship =/
Tenchi Muyo. The space ship rabbit was Ryo Ohki.

Hah, just as I saw I had new messages in my inbox I remembered it was called Tenchi Muyo xD

I never understood that anime back then, I just found it weird enough to keep watching. Might have to start watching it seeing as I'm lacking in shows to watch.

Pokemon, then Digimon then Love Hina, I prefered the manga of both Love Hina and Dragonball.

I didn't have cable growing up, so I only really saw some episodes of Digimon and Samurai Pizza Cats. Ooh, and my brother and I would rent tapes of the Megaman cartoon from the video store pretty frequently.

First anime I purposefully watched to the end though, was Noir. excellent.

I think it was Samurai Pizza Cats (the dub version) if that count. I remember waking up really early to watch it.

I've only seen two: Death Note and Serial Experiments Lain. Credit goes to TV Tropes for sparking my interest in those two.

I started watching Sonic X and Speed Racer, then I started watching F-Zero Falcon Densetsu and Kirby: Right back at ya!

I'm thinking about getting into another one, but I have yet to find one that interests me.

Pokemon years ago, but I was never into anime at that age, just watched whatever was on.

What really got me into anime was the introduction of the studio ghibli films on film4; Laputa was my first and still favourite anime film. These led me to try the popular series, Naruto.

From there I branched out into other series of varying sophistication, with varying results. Being at uni helped too, as back home none of my mates watched anime.

A long time ago, I watched Pokémon and Digimon, as well as Cardcaptors. However, at the time I had no idea what an anime was and how it was different from anything else. The first anime that I actually watched as an anime was The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, which I actually watched only a few weeks ago. Then I watched Lucky Star, on the grounds that it was animated by the same studio. These two have convinced me to get into anime, but I don't know where to go from here...

You'll probably like 'K-ON!', which was also made by that studio.

Speed Racer.

Old...old...old anime series. Wouldn't really truly call it Anime, then again.
If you want to go that far back then I would have to say Robotech back when it was originally airing in the US.
Oh hey now, Robotech was by far and large a more modern-day type of anime. What with giant, formshifting robots and whatnot. Speed Racer looked like it could have been made by the same group that did Scooby Doo.

Robotech is still my favorite anime, followed very closely by Cowboy Bebop and Wolf's Rain.

Yeah, I was looking into K-On! for a while. Sounds interesting.

As for Ghost in the Shell, I've never actually heard about it. I'm going to have to look into it... Thanks for your recommendations.

Pokemon and Yugioh for me too. I've grown a bit too old for them, but I still spend far too much time with the games and the Abridged Series respectively.
