'68 Chevy Chevelle. It was a beautiful beast, and I drove it to the salvage yard with almost 350,000 miles on it. After over 20 years hard winters, the road salt was rusting away the chassis, and it was literally falling apart...

Ain't got no car.

Can't afford it and don't need it.

When I get a license and a car, I'm aiming towards this:

a clock? :S
HAHAHHAHA, epic fail on my part, did not notice the obvious clockarm right there. Thanks for pointing that out :p
haha no bother, but on a side note, i am in much approval of a the hippy mobile (i would say the other name but i may get banned :p )

'97 Mazda Protege, still driving it. The AC doesn't work and the check engine light is on.

My first car was a 1997 Ford Ka, which I purchased off my cousin back in 2008. A few months later, I took it for it's MOT (a legal requirement in the UK) and was told the repairs to get it up to spec would cost more than I paid for it. I decided to buy a newer car and traded my Ka in on the deal to get "money off". I still have my second car (a 2005 Renault Clio, for those interested).

1993 Ford Explorer 5-speed manual.

Clutch gave out in '02, had to get a new car (sold the Explorer to my cousin who fixed the clutch and promptly ran it into a tree while two-tracking, grr)

/loved that car

My first car was a '88 Honda Accord. It was flat gray. I guess I was ahead of the curve because now that matte finish seems to be in style or something. :p

I had it for about 2 years while I saved up. Then I sold it (for only $500 less than I paid for it 2 years earlier) and bought a '96 Acura Integra GSR. That car lasted me through college.

Most people know what a Honda Accord looks like, so here's the Integra since it's not as common:

Currently im on my... 9th vehicle. (i dont break them, i buy and sell all the time, last year alone i had three)

A 1984 Plymouth "Reliant", a car long past it's prime by the time I got it. I didn't lose it so much as I murdered it. I spent so much in money and time trying to keep that POS running that, when I finally got a better car, watching it being junked was a great day. I'll never forget giant metal tines spearing the windshield, lifting the car off the ground, and hauling that thing to its doom.

I had a Vauxhall Astra Mark II "inherited" from my Mum. Ran it for a while, inlcuding into the back of a Merc round a blind corner, but that didn't write it off.

Old-age got the better of it eventually.

this was my first car, left to my mom and me by my grandfather, it survived until I fell asleep behind the wheel and first crashed into the trees by the road, 800 meters from my workplace and upon hitting them turned upside down - it was a sad day - but still was a great car :D

1990 Honda Accord

Died in its third wreck when I fell asleep driving home and ran into a Chevy Silverado. Luckily I could walk away, most likely due to the fact that I had slept through the wreck.

'97 Geo Metro in green. A mechanic had to seal the oil cap shut so it wouldn't leak anymore...unfortunately that meant the oil couldn't be changed anymore either. It had a max of 6 months to run :( I loved that car. Died about 2 years ago.

Well, my first car is an utterly normal tan 2006 Saturn Aura that I bought for about 6k in '08 and am in the process of selling so I can upgrade to a Sonata. It is a nice solid car, and my only problem with it is the fact that I have to get it aligned more than the normal or it eats through tires rather quickly.

My first, and only car until now is a 1977 AMC Pacer that was given to me about a year ago. My dad worked on it day and night. It was pretty beat up. It's a pretty decent car. I once raced it around a two block circuit. Mine is green though:

My first car is a black 2001 Honda CRV. My parents bought it with the intention of using it themselves, but they rarely ever did. So it ended up being driven by my older sister and I when we got our licenses.

Sure, Honda CRVs are a bit of a joke, but I wasn't going to complain with getting to drive a brand new vehicle as my first car.

Anyway, my parents eventually completely paid it off, then gave it to me.

So yeah... it's got about 200k miles on it, it gets terrible gas mileage, the electric locks frequently jam, the automatic windows take forever to close, the lock on the tailgate is busted (the glass top part is the only thing holding it closed), it has a massive dent on the top of it (how it got there, I have no idea), and it has more dings and scratches than I could put a number on.

It just barely passed inspection this year, and now the catalytic converter is starting to go... so its days might be coming to an end.

My first car was a 2001 ford focus wagon, and believe it or not ive still got it, runs great! Though i have contemplated trading it in for either a newer focus or the fiesta but as long as its still running i dont see any reason to.

You mean the 2001 Isuzu Rodeo, currently in my apartment's parking slot downstairs? The one that just got it's oil changed, the one that's having some fuel to air ratio problems, and gets 19 mpg? The one with 160,000 miles on it?

Damn well better not have lost it.
