my first concert was Sonisphere '09 in Nijmegen. saw korn, slipknot, down, lamb of god, kamelot and metallica. the last one was the one I came to see and also the only one I thought was actually good. I was with my buddy who was about to join the navy though, so we had to stand in the back to avoid any damage to his ears.

My first proper concert is going to be this December - going to see Def Leppard, Motley Crue and Steel Panther in concert at the Glasgow SECC. It is going to be EPIC!

I haven't actually been to a concert, the closest thing I've been to was "The Fringe" Out side the London MCM Expo last may.

But yeah, 18 and never been to one. They don't interest me that much. I much prefer putting on a pair of headphones, lying on my bed and ramming the volume up.

My first concert was December 2010. It was a special day because I'd gone into remmision just the day before. It was in Manchester. Halestorm, Buckcherry, Papa Roach and Disturbed were all playing. It was a brilliant show, the only low point was Buckcherry, they didn't play any of their best songs. I was still pretty weak from chemotherapy so I spent half the show leaning against a barrier.

For me it was a Iron Maiden concert almost 2 years ago and it was fucking awesome we actually traveled from our home all the way to Bergen, they had Dark Tranquility as their warm-up band and I remember being goddamn excited by the end of the concert Bruce threw out his cap and it broke out a fight about it which I got involved in

It was one of the greatest moments of my life

First concert for me was when I was 13.

I was at a Homeschool Conference and they had a live metal band for all the teens. They went by the title "Flamingo Gunfight"

At first, I thought I would just go and sit and listen, but by the time they had done three songs, I was headbanging with the best of em.

And it was FUCKING AWESOME!!!

Enter Shikari, Leeds Met Uni, 2009

It was amazing, great energy and atmosphere, the band were amazing, the crowd was immense.
However, I had been to a few smaller concerts, like in pubs and small clubs, as well as some small festivals when I was younger. My parents took us all, I honestly can't remember who they were or what the show was like. One I do remember was Richard Burton's musical version of The War of The Worlds. In 200..6 or 7. That was a fairly awesome thing to watch.
I've also been to watch friend's bands play at small venues since I was 14, but until they make it big, I won't count them as real concerts. Just over-hyped parties.

My first concert was Disturbed in May, in New Zealand. Also These Four Walls (NZ band), As I Lay Dying and Trivium opened for them. It was three and a half hours of hard rock and heavy metal. I fucking loved it. Now more metal bands need to come to NZ. Five Finger Death Punch, Static-X, Killswitch Engage, Shinedown, Mnemic, Disturbed again, Lamb of God....the list goes on...

Well my first one was an AC/DC and Thin Lizzy tribute band but for a non-tribute act it was Dreamtheatre. They were fairly awesome with loads of cool CGI on the screens, plus they are one of my favourite bands so that was awesome. Most recent was Bowling For Soup on their Just can't get rid of us tour which was pretty good and I'm going to see them again soon. One of my next is a viking metal band called Turisas.

MY best was either Green Day which was open-air and I was right at the very front so I shook Billie Joe Armstrong's hand and they had loads of pyrotechnics, or possibly Muse because I really love muse and they were just amazing .

About 9 months ago I saw a small punk band called The King Blues, but I'm not so into them now. It was a tiny venue (it used to be a public toilet) that held about 60 people, but that made it sound even louder. My first real gig (that is to say, a big one) was Sonisphere Festival at Knebworth House last Summer. Since then, though, I've been to (and are planning) loads.
