First proper gaming machine was a Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128k... ah the glory days of waiting 5 minutes to play Chase HQ or Ghouls n' Goblins only for something to go wrong with the loading and going on a ten minute rant at my parents for something that must clearly have been their fault for picking up the phone or something because it couldn't possibly have been the crappy tape drive.

Then I had a Megadrive.

The first console I ever owned on the other hand was my N64, Super Mario 64, which I to this day wish I had mulled through and beaten.

one of my earliest memory is a party my family had which included some dr. mario, but i couldnt say that that was my first consol because i barely remeber it and discovering old nes cartridges in my house was weird for me, so genesis/megadrive
