As the title states, we are here to discuss your first game. This game could be your first video game ever, or the one that got you into the gaming world.

My first ever is a most humorous encounter. I was a child of three and I was visiting my uncle. He said he had a surprise for me. We went to the computer, turned on a game, and he typed in some cheats for me. God mode and unlimited ammo. Now you might be wondering what my game was.

My first ever gaming experience was with the original Doom.

My first game was Pokemon Yellow for the GameBoy color. The first game that got me into gaming (shooters especially) was Call of Duty. Not CoD4, the original one. I got it a little while after it had first come out and I have been a hardcore shooter fan ever since. Also, I'm still *a little* into Pokemon. Mostly for nostalgia's sake.

Actually I had two first games at the same time. I still have them, and still have their jewel cases.

Tempest X: Really boring arcade game
and Twisted Metal 2: The best fucking Twisted Metal version out there.

The first computer game I was ever exposed to I think was zork and beneath apple manor, although it is possible that one called The Temple of Rakka-tu or somesuch was it. Back when the game was loaded via a cassette tape that was.

I think it was a corrupt second hand Pokemon Yellow, that I played on my Gameboy chunky (I nicknamed it that, as it took 4 AA batteries and was big). But it could have been when I bought my PSone, I got Croc, Bugs Life, Crash Bandicoot and Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone (I think) with it. I really wish I hadn't given that away now...

Edit: Although I played some odd games on the computers at my school that didn't need discs, like Sammy the Snake, one were you are a Dinosaur with a gun, and you have to collect 6 different types of eggs and drop them of at a collection point, whilst killing other dinosaurs (as you can tell my school liked educational games), and one were your were a bug, and had to navigate through levels were you had no weapons or means to defend yourself and lots of enemies...

Pretty sure the original Mario. My parents' friend gave me the NES and I never looked back.

Super Mario Bros on my older cousin's NES. I was 3 and he was 7. Neither of us could get past level 5.

The first I played was Super Mario World, but the first I played as a real gamer was Ninja Gaiden. At least, it's because of Ninja Gaiden that I quickly became a skilled gamer.
