Red Baron on the C64 was the first I can remember playing but there may have been 1 or 2 before that. The first game I fell in love with though was Sonic on the Mega Drive.

I think it was Lemmings on the Omega... but my first console game was Diddy Kong Racing on the N64.

ROLLAR COASTER TYCOON!!!
i love that game; its so much fun.
even now the graphics hold up and the art style of the various in-game pop-ups make it seem usable, with the right level of friendliness, without any unnessacary textures or graphics. This edition of the series seems uncluttered with various novelties, and samey rides; a problem that bogged the following games.

If you put "first game" into the search bar there's about a page of threads ;)

Not that I care though :D
I can't remember anything before Pokemon Blue, so I'll assume it's that. Cracking game.
Yeah, Pokemon Blue for me too. 12 years later and I still haven't finished it...

I talked to my mom about it just now. It was either Duck Hunt or Super Mario Bros for the NES Christmas 1990. I was almost 3.
