I was playing video games in my first year of life, and my parents have the pictures to prove it, playing on old UNIX systems and a Commodore64. I don't remember anything of that time, myself.

It was either Super Mario 64 or Mario Kart (for the 64). I vaguely remember all the time me and my friends spent on Mario Kart when we were younger. Kind of wish I could still play the it, but alas my 64 broke many years ago.

Mine was Super Mario World on the SNES, and I was 5 at the time. If I remember correctly, I was visiting relatives over Christmas in Palm Springs, CA, and a big part of the experience was my cousin and I arguing over who got to play next...

Ah, to be 5 again...

I miss the old Spyro games. They were so much fun, but the new versions are just appalling.

My parents, when I was in primary school, promised me an Atari if I had good grades all year. The joke was on them, tho, since I went to Catholic School & we were terrified into being good students.

Anyway, my father and I used to play Combat before dinner each night. ~30 years later, it's still a fond memory.

First one I can remember was

DIDDY KONG RACING... Press Start!

I was five, god that seems like a lifetime ago.

Of course I also had a NES and SNES. So I could've played other games before, but Diddy has always been the one that comes to mind when I think of losing my gaming virginity.

a game on the PS1 called croc, loved it to bits. Enjoyed Mario on the gameboy for a bit, but what really kicked off my intrest was FF7 and Gran trusimo. Being 7 at the time, I wasn't that good, but my Brother helped out. We'd both play it and I'd do the more boring races, whilst he'd do the more intresting ones.

First games I played were Infocom games on my dads ancient PC. All text adventures but loved them so much. Favorites being the Sorceror series and Zork 1 and 2.
