What was it? or if you will be a gun owner Which one will you buy?

On my 21st birthday i am gonna pick up this lil beauty:

Its mainly of self defense, The way society is progressing you dont know when shit will hit the fan.

Serious answers are appreciated (someone will say BFG 9000) but whatever, have fun with it.

EDIT: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. THIS ISNT A THREAD ABOUT GUN RIGHTS! IF YOU DONT WANT ONE THEN FINE! STOP JUDGING THOSE WHO WILL BUY ONE OR ALREADY OWN ONE. Take your opinions to the right place, they will be appreciated and this is not the right thread to start a gun ownership debate.

If I were to get a gun it would probably be a .22 rifle.

I definitely don't need a handgun while I'm out on the town, but a small rifle to shoot spiders when they get in the house would be useful.

Hmmm...
The handgun (or one of the handguns) I plan on one day picking up is this:
They do cost quite a bit, so I will only get one under special circumstances.
Yes, that is a Gyrojet Pistol.
Yes, the rounds are miniature rockets.
Yes, it is beautiful.

The first gun I shot was some sort of semi auto hunting rifle. It turns out I'm a pretty good marksman.

It is a 12 gauge pump. hand crafted (we think no manufacture on it) beautiful wood, the lightest shotgun you have ever held, smooth action, nice rubber butt bad, loads from the bottom, this gun does have as few downsides, for example i can't take it hunting because of the weight saving on it it can;t take double magnum rounds but thats ok its to pretty to take hunting.

The wood on it is so beautiful the gun is almost 30 years old and the wood looks brand new. its got a beautiful marsh with ducks in it.

The Five-Seven is a nice gun but I'm not too sure about just how effective the ammo is.
Instead of going cutting edge I bought a Makarov.
Its pretty cool as a concealed carry gun and the 9x18 Makarov round is slightly more powerful than a 380ACP.
I still want to get a Jerich0 941/Baby Eagle just because of how good it feels to hold.

Yeah, the FN Herstal, cuz everyone needs an armor piercing pistol.

Any evidence for that claim? I'm sorry, but I get very worried when I hear the younger generations speak so cavalierly about such dangerous weapons.

I'm probably the last person who should have a gun.
That's what I was thinking. The other day didn't you post that you were born with +15 clumsiness?

I hope that when you do get one it only shoots water like TriggerHappyAngel's gun.

OT: I don't think that I will ever have a gun. I have a nifty sword though. I keep it near my bed in case of burglars.

Hmm...I've never owned a gun in real life, so I shall go with a more on-topic thing. Video game gun. :D

My first gun in a video game would be the Rifle in Final Doom for the PC. Man I loved that gun to death.

Otherwise, I have a 17-gauge, bolt-action rifle in my house, but it isn't mine, so...yeah. I've taken it to a firing range, at least?

mine was an AR-15 issued by the military. passed down from many batches of army recruits beforehand-so you can expect it to be rather crap..

First gun I fired? Was with cadets, all my full bore shooting has been done with them, .22 5.56 and 12 gauge shells being the only cartrigdes I've fired

First gun I owned was my Grandads Air rifle which I use for hunting, and that expanded into a new air rifle I also use for hunting.

I also got a rifle for Airsofting, dam I love that sport.

I have no interest whatsoever in having a gun in my home for "safety". However, I always wanted my very own original german MP40. Non-functional ofcourse. Or a WWII rifle. Actually, any WWII gun would do. I'd find a place to showcase it!
