Worked in the kitchen of a local bar and grill, for under minimum wage (gd loop holes and cheap ass bosses). When I turned 16 I started working in the shop of a construction company, was a good way to get my foot in the door for summer work once I turned 18 too.
i wasn't accepted to have a jo until I was 19... : (
it was a barista position at the school's union building.
I quit that though and now work at a cafeteria at the same school.
Not impressed with either job and will at least transfer out to get it closer to where I'm livign next year.

Technically I did flyers to my neighbourhood. Shit job with shittier pay. My first "real job" was in highschool, working at a grocery store. I think that's an awesome first job place. The pay isn't good or anything but you meet a lot of people... sometimes, very good looking people 
First job: Health and Safety Manager and lunchtime organiser for my local primary school. I AM THE TOY MASTER! Kid wants a ball to play with? He must prove to me he hath been a good boy!...No, not that much power really. Its essentially, minor repairs here and there. Managing equipment and keeping inventory of toys. And playing with the kids at Lunch and Break ( 'Recess' for americans and the like ). Still doing it, still love it.

My first job was working at a beer distributor my dad's friend owned. In fact I still work there and I gotta say its the best job ever because whenever no one is in the store (which is all the time) I get to play around on the internet.
The only bad thing is that I am the only worker out of all 5 of us that deals with all the stupid stuff ranging from people that are impossible to understand calling the store to try to sign us up for something which I can't do to pigeons that somehow get into the store through the front door which I somehow don't notice till the damn thing is in the office. You may think that I am just being overly dramatic and that my co workers must deal with some stupid stuff as well and they do but all the major stupid stuff is dealt with by me even my boss commented on my horrible luck.

I worked unpaid writing news articles for a gaming website for a very short time. As pretentious as this is going to sound, I gave up because I was the only one who appeared to give a toss about actually reporting the news. All the other people writing the articles just gave a ~50 word summary and a link to a website that actually gave some information about it. For a small website, just acting as a sort of hub to link to actual news articles really doesn't work.
My first job was working part time in high school at an independent grocery store doing, well, whatever they told me to do. It wasn't the best job and my main superior had zero personality skills, but it was money in my pocket for college so I took it in stride.
Working at my dad's feed store for minimum wage. All I really did was carry out 50 lb feed bags and hay to peoples cars. It was a lot of fun though and improved my relationship with my dad.
Worked for a few years at a 7-11. To this day, I want to smack any kid who goes near the Slurpee machine.
My first paying job was a summer temp job doing office work when I was 15. That kinda carried over to a job as a helper in an afterschool program during the school year. Then when I turned 18 I got a brief job working in a bakery. A couple months later I got a job offer from a large food distributor as a will call coordinator. I went from part time work in a bakery working a couple hours a week at minimum wage to a full time job making $12.50 with full benefits. I got lucky.
