*Mind you, this was back in the day*
When my sister and I were almost done completing Super Mario Bros. 3 for the first time (We were outside of Bowser's door, for Pete's sake!), my mom unplugged the Nintendo and forced us to play outside.
Never have we been more disappointed.

Surprised more people didn't have this one. Maybe this just shows my age (this happened around 1986):

Getting everything in Zelda but the silver arrow, then going away for a week on vacation and coming back to see that my save was GONE. I was SOO mad. I remember that we had people watching the house while we were gone and I was yelling, "Mom! They deleted my Zelda save! They deleted my Zelda save!" This was back before Nintendo realized that their built-in batteries were shit and that you had to hold down the "Reset" button while you shut down to help prevent data loss. I had to start all the way over from the beginning, but eventually I did beat Gannon and saved the day.

Constant stream of shit aimed at me, family deaths, family friend died quite horribly, barely passed A levels with what I needed for Uni (well, just got EXACTLY what I needed) girlfriend left me for a rich ****, just to name a few.

Me and my cousin we're doing the "trade clone" Glitch on Pokemon Red. I turned off too late in the trade & it corrupted my save file.

I lost 150 Hours of gameplay. At 10 years of age, It was like losing a family member.

My father is like that all the time, he's a nazi at gaming and that, plugs out the Wireless Network if I sit on the computer too late in the evening. (That's about 23:00-00:00) Be lucky you aren't me, many savegames were lost because he used the main electricity switch (Read under.).

We've got a main electricity switch in the living room with the PS2 (And now also the PS3) in, and since it is right beside the door, many people had the tendency to "Accidentally hit it". Many NOOOOOOOOOO's were yelled.

Also, when some idiot physically destroyed my hard drive (the CD-looking thing was physically broken in half.) and I found out that I'd lost
A LOT of precious data. I cried that day.

And every time I am ONE point away from an A at any English test.

I think I remember my very first. I had this little comic book from Astrix & Obelix. I loved it to death as a little kid. Then my father, for a reason I still do not understand, just ripped it to pieces and threw it away.
I NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO'd alright, which is screaming and kicking and all that.

This would've been my second one, only mine was a bit more random. I didn't use any glitch whatsoever, it was a legitimate save full of level 100 Pokemon, like a Blastoise on whom I used not a single Rare Candy. I had completed my Pokédex as well, so you can say that I was pretty damn proud of it. Heck, for a 9-year-old, it's probably the best thing that ever happened in the universe.

Then, one day, suddenly, it was just all gone. Someone erased my file or something, started over again. Oh boy the rage, the rage!!! I still don't know who did it.

And yes, I get this all the time as well. Back when I still played WoW, especially as a hardcore raider, this could lead to many NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO's and FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU's.

I was actually watching The Guild this afternoon, and I still can barely believe that at one point in my life, I was actually a part of something that looked even a bit like the group of people depicted in that (awesome) show.

Can't remember the time but my most recent one occurred after I started up Dragons Age: Origins for the PC for the first time. Everything was looking good, got my Bioware logo, epic feel, decent graphics...but my characters a mute. Uninstalled the the game and gave the damn thing to my little brother. If I'm playing a game from Bioware I expect some damn voice acting from the main character.

Sooo... you're only really playing Mass Effect then.

When my laptop died with the previous two years of my university work on it. Fuck. I should learn to back up stuff.

having my friends get me to download the BF:BC 2 demo on the 360, still hating it mind you, but getting the idea that we would kick ass as a squad [going thre rounds in a row winning will do that to you.

yesterday and today when we decided to play the multiplayer for the first time and being unable to find a game. as in: "we are currently experiencing technical difficulties" kind of not being able to find a game.

now, all those people that said BC 2 was going to kick ass simply since it has dedicated servers can promptly fall under a bus.


I liked the single player though, but I already said that would be the only part I would enjoy completely.

You do realise that the servers have overloaded because the game sold miles more copies than they expected?

Anyway, My one would have to be when I accidentally overwrote my best Fallout 3 save with one of my lesser files. That file was almost perfect too, I was almost level 30.
