Pikachu, Yellow!
Same :D

I was like 4 or 5 when I got Pokemon yellow and couldn't read. I found it years later in the back of the drawer. I still hadn't gotten the message from the pokemart to Prof Oak. And I had hours of gameplay.

Charmander, Pokemon Red.

Why? ...'cause I didn't know the first gym was Rock type at the time. I stuck with it though. :3

My first ever Pokemon was the Pokemon card Charmander that my friend gave me. Because of that I got Charmander in Blue.
You bought Blue to play with a Charmander? That sir is a disgrace to Charmander I challenge you to a duel, Pokemon Red vs. Blue at dawn! Oh and by the way I used cheat codes :p.

Either Pikachu or Bulbasaur. I say 'either' because I had both games, and I don't remember which one I played first.

Charmander, Pokemon Blue. The first one I caught was Rattata.

Brock didn't pose much of a challenge for me (with Charmander, too), but it took me forever to beat Misty. That Starmie and its goddamn Bubblebeam! FTR I didn't know there were pikachus in Viridian Forest. Otherwise, I would have had an easier time with that red-headed *****.
