Your first RPG?

If you can count it as an RPG, I'd say D&D: Treasure of Tarmin for the Intellivision. I played that game so much I probably knew all the ins and outs of it. Sadly I haven't played it in awhile and I need to start again.
The second RPG I played if I remember correctly was the Dragon Warrior. My cousin had a copy and I played it for a bit at his house. Later on he sold all of his NES games and I got his copy along with the map and guide.

Is what I'd like to say, though I'm fairly sure I played some before it they are far less noteworthy or clear in my mind.

To be honest, I am not sure. But the oldest RPG I remember playing was Pokémon Red, the first RPG that I actually wanted to completely finish.

The first rpg I had cantact with, was Zelda II, although i haven't really played it myself. The first game I played myself, was either Mystic Quest Legend or Secret of Mana both for snes, can't really remember which one.

Ahhhh Secret of Mana. It's aged rather poorly, but on the otherhand, Legend of Mana has aged wonderfully. Have you ever played Legend of Mana?

Yeah, but never finished it. But I must say, secret of mana is still one of my favorit games, maybe because of the nostalgia.

My first RPG was Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. I started gaming at a later age then you guys. It was still fun.

Golden Sun. I was a FFVII nut but I didn't own a playstation nor could I play anyone else's. Sadly, I was deprived of that experience till the summer of 2006, but hey, rather late than never ^_^

And the first Golden Sun is still my favorite RPG on any handheld system (had it for my GameBoy Advance)

Though Super Mario RPG was amazing, I don't think anything in my experience can beat Skies of Arcadia for Dreamcast. I still have it and play it. I don't remember another game that got me so hooked that I would play on the VMU for extra items.

I have honestly no idea, it's been too long. But the game that got me back into RPGs was Kingdom Hearts.

Oh wow, hm.. It was either Gladiator (adventure action/rpg) by forgotten sages (now deceased) or Enchantasy (downloaded from AOL games section! weee)Or it could of been Exile 3: Ruined World..... wait wait! im thinking, Warriors of the eternal sun or something... a DND game for sega ^_^ i was too young to even know what it was, but i definitely remember bits and pieces of it, and was so happy when i played it again a few years ago and realized THIS WAS THE GAME.
