I remember getting my GameBoy Color when I was six, and only having the games "Centipede" and "Abe's Odd World". Those were the days.

bah.

Children.

Try Pong on the Atari 2600 in the first year the console was released.

I have fond memories of finding the easter egg (aka the secret area) in Adventure and the groovy music in Pitfall II. And Q-bert...
Want me to help you across the street old man?

Ha ha, just kidding!
You're amusing all gamers are guys. :)
Well its a pretty safe bet he/she/it is a guy, since a majority of gamers are.
Oh I know that for a fact being a vast minority in the gaming community, Im just saying. There are some... and I really mean some, well more like a few, chick gamers. Ok maybe like 1 per 20 guy gamers. *shrugs*

Well boys, I AM a girl. Thank you very much!!

I remember Alex Kidd which came with my very first console ever, a Sega Master System II. It was also the only game I ever owned for that system. Rented alot for it though.

When we got our IBM pc, it had a version of Flight Simulator. Something horrible and green. People claimed that if you could master the thing, you could fly a real plane. Apparently, I've been able to crash planes since I was a little boy. Actually flying... not so much.

Hmmm I have two good stories:

My cousin had an NES and I was over I would play SMB3 the whole time. I'm sure I pissed my family off then.

The second was when my mom pulled me and my sis out of school one day and we went to the mall. She was waling towards Babbages and I asked "Why are we going here?" She said " I don't know. I thought about getting you two a Playstation."

A shat myself. Hard.

I remember my parents wouldn't buy me a game system, so when my friend bought a new super nintendo I talked him into selling me his NES cheap. Then my dad spent hours playing Dragon Warrior on it.

My sister had won Super Mario All Stars in 1995, and soon after we got a SNES with a Super GameBoy and Super Mario World. I played Super Mario World first, and it remains one of my fave games to this day.

My first self-bought console was a GameCube in 2003, 2004 and my first portable was a GBC, because my sisters got to go on holiday. Ah, memories...

aaah yes.. I cant remember the first game I ever played, but I do know it was for the NES. My mom got the NES a couple years or so before I was born, and by the time i arrived she had about a dozen or 2 games. Lol I think I played each one a few times when I was like 4 or 5 years old, and from then on I just started playing more and more, I remember playing that pro wrestling game, all 3 mario bros, kirby, and a ton of other random games for it, lol the only game my mom played on it was dragon warriors 3. And then the N64 came out and I was finally able to get it a year later. the N64 was what got me completely hooked.

My first game that I can remember is Jump Start Typing, which sealed my fate as someone with shitty handwriting. My first ACTUAL game was Starcraft. Born and bred PC gamer here, so never had a console.

My first video game ever was a coin-op arcade game called Asteroids. The original asteroids was white outlines of ships and asteroids on a black screen. It's still one of my favorite games. My first video game system to have at home was Pong. That's all it played but we thought it was awesome to even be playing video games at home at all.
