First game i played was the old mortal combat i played it once at my cousin's house and couldn't stand to look at it because of all the blood.(definitely not the oldest mortal combat but i was say he had a genesis could be wrong) the first game i owned... Crash Bandicoot probably the first ps exclusive recognizable characters.

The first one I can consciously remember is Hillsfar for the PC. Or possibly Pool of Radiance, though I just watched my father play that for the first times.

No no no, you choose Squirtle or Bulbasaur first, because then you can easily beat Brock.

Charmander doesn't really have a problem beating Brock, though. Just because Ember is "not very effective" doesn't mean it doesn't still do decent damage. He's almost a better choice for the fight than Bulbasaur, unless you grind him to level 13 for Vine Whip just for that fight.

Asteroids on my Atari 2600 Jr in 1985, I was 8!
For the youngsters, the Jr was the slim version of the 2600.
I might be wrong though, could also be Defender, Missile Commands or Joust.

Spyro the Dragon. Played it when I was five, and was in one of those little kiddie areas in a grocery store xD I actually got to the point where I could make it to the Peacekeeper's world in under an hour.

The first game I played was Star Fox I believe, or maybe even one of the original Marios. I don't even remember my first game, just the knowledge that I was gaming.

Mine was Super Mario World for SNES... or Super Mario All Stars... on the SNES. I cannot remember, but what I do remember easily was how poorly I played the game. I'm not kidding, I asked my mom to help me, and she was a none gamer, teach me how to play it, so I was about 3 or 4, I think.

Either Mario Kart 64 or Super Mario 64, but I would probably say Mario Kart.

I may or may not have had some experience with a different Mario game before that, but I can't remember which one.
