What game was it? Where did you play it? Why and when did you play it? What did it feel like?
My first game was Spyro 2 for PlayStation. My dad bought it for some reason and I loved it! It felt like I finally found my purpose in life, and that purpose was playing games.
How was your first encounter with a game?

I think it was either Power Pete, Full Throttle or Nanosaur.

Actually, it was all of them. They came with the Mac.

Good times. Good times.

The first game I remember playing was Alisia Dragoon on the MegaDrive. Can't remember when why and where but I know it felt pretty damn good. In fact, I think I'll go and play it now.

Emulators FTW!

Pokemon. Blue.

Love it to pieces, ironically, my sister introduced me to the series.

As a result, we get along very well.

One of two games come to mind:

1) Exterminator [http://www.lemon64.com/?mainurl=http://www.lemon64.com/reviews/view.php%3Fid%3D788] for the Commodore 64

2) This I'm not too sure on, but from memory, it had you play as a pirate looking for treasure in a randomly generated maze. It had a top down view, the maze was kinda set in a jungle or something, and was on the Commodore 64.

No no no, you choose Squirtle or Bulbasaur first, because then you can easily beat Brock.

Super Mario Bros. I was 4 and forced to go to a gathering at someone's house... Asked my dad if it was okay if I stayed in the boys bedroom because I felt ill (really, I was just scared of social situations and wanted to get out of it) and he let me... I saw a NES in his room and ended up playing Mario Bros for 3 hours straight until we had to go home... and I've picked gaming over socialising many times since :p
