One warning. I said "I love quiche" in response to someone else. Apparently this warranted a low content post? I never really thought it was justified, as it was a complete thought that answered a question. Now I just throw in pointless words to pacify whomever.

My forum health bar is fresh to death! I've run into no problems as of yet, although I've seen people get in trouble for things that probably weren't as bad as some of the stuff I've done. It really seems like a wrong place, wrong time sort of thing. Some people get away with way too much and others get the hammer dropped on them for relatively little.

It's annoying when someone reports someone else's post just because they got upset with them during an argument, while they themselves are saying things just as bad as the person they reported, that is crap.

I always check to see what the person has been suspended/banned for.

On Topic: My health bar is clean right now and I intend to keep it that way.

I am on probation at the moment for a pretty good reason. I said some hateful stuff which I am not particularly proud of. Still- If you ask for peoples opinions you kind of have to be ready for their answer and the reasoning behind it.

Don't open the spoiler tags unless you are prepared.

My last infraction was in a thread where I stated that 2 girls kissing was sexy, but two men kissing was "fucked up". I totally get why that was horrible wording, although it's kind of funny considering I have gay friends. I was just trying to answer the OP's question; why gay females are less judged than gay males. Next time i'll say unsexy or even better not post at all.

Oh and I had another in a thread about my opinion on dating/marrying a transgendered person which i'm again not proud of.

If swamp thing wants to get married sure thing, but don't expect me to marry him.

Feel free to judge me as you will from those comments. I said them.

Nothing on here so far, but on another forum I managed to get banned three times over a few months time.
Same here, actually. I was kind of an asshole.

I have no stories for you guys(and gals), but that's more of a good thing rather than a bad thing IMO.

I've probably come close before though. For example, one of my first threads here was a "VS Thread" and I didn't realize that they were frowned upon. A mod probably could have given me a warning for it, but I didn't get anything more than a few aggravated forum-goers.

Yep, it seem practically everyone does this.

I've run the whole gambit of mod wrath, wracking up 3-day and 7-day probations, 3-day, 7-day, 14-day, and 30-DAY suspensions, and multiple warnings. They switched to the health bar right after the end of my 30-day, and I've not wracked up more wrath since then.
Wow, it sounds like things were really harsh back in those days.
I think I was just an idiot, actually.

It's OK, I plan to see my 2 Year Amnestversary, then it won't matter.

Currently have a full health bar but I have one infraction in the past.

Moviebob is somewhat agreeable most times but frankly he has an extremely bad habit of latching on to anything and spouting it beyond the point of acceptable redundancies such how he kept bringing up the Retake Mass Effect as the latest example of this irritating practice. Anyways about a year ago every one of his articles kept mentioning Batman: Dark Knight as the best movie ever. In one of his junk drawer episodes of the big picture he set aside a minute to, once again, talk about why the Dark Knight movie was so great.

Sick of listening to him talk constantly bringing it up I posted in the forums asking if he could please stop sucking Dark Knight's dick so hard. I knew before I posted it that it was going to get at least a warning. Incidentally he stopped bringing it up after that post for at least a few months so hey, all's well that ends well.

Been here for years, I don't post too often but I love reading news articles. I usually just end up commenting with the fb addon thing. So far I don't have an infraction :)

Well my forum bar is clean now, but I have had two infractions in the past.

My first was in a thread I made complaining about how I much I was annoyed by people leaving in the middle of Halo: Reach matches, which in retrospect was kinda dumb. I got a warning for quoting someone with a low content post. All I wrote was "This"

The second time was when I got a probation for embedding a video of a guy who talked about Sonic Passion, a website for people who are sexually attracted to Sonic and friends. During the video he mocked furries, which make up a part of the Escapist community. So I understood why I got in trouble for it. I didn't realized what I did until it was too late. I was simply making a thread asking why the people on that site think Sonic is sexually appealing and why they seemed so open about it compared to other fandoms. I simply used the video I mentioned as a point of reference.

Ever since then though, I haven't caused any mod wrath, so now my health bar is clean. :)

I got a warning for pointing out that people are going to end up pirating a game with more frequency because of a poor business practice.

Can't even remember what game it was. That's it, really.

Don't ever let your appendix nearly explode, worse pain you will ever experience, trust me.

Edit: And that's what I get for not reading the OP properly.
And here I though it was just Daystar being Daystar

That's your secret you just don't read the OP :p

Three word posts are crap. Contribute more to find a happy place here. Words in a picture don't count either, as they aren't your own.

That's been my understanding since my inception here.

If you think about it, you can add more words, that have meaning, to your post that aren't pointless if you try, eh?

I'd rather have these mods have more of an impact, than less. It makes this site better/more unique than the rest. There are (from what people tell me) plenty of sites that let you do whatever and call it a day. I prefer a more structured forum, savvy?
In context it was appropriate, as it was meant to be humorous. Adding to it would have diluted the intent. Of course, whether or not it was actually FUNNY would be up for debate, but that was the intent nonetheless. Regardless, I've seen some okay 3 word posts, usually crafted for the purpose of humor. Similarly, I've seen several paragraph long posts that lack the coherence or logic of brief, single-sentence ones. However, I do hate the typical "this" comment and its ilk, so I see where the mods are coming from. I just don't think LC infractions should be as universally applicable as you seem to imply.

As to mod involvement, it depends on the mod and their behavior. I and a few others once got a mod fired on the Unity forums specifically because he was a little too involved. In general, however, the mods around here seem pretty good and impartial. As to you preference, well, if you like a tight run ship then good for you, I suppose. I don't mind it.

You have a clean record. Excellent job, citizen!
It wasn't always like that. I had one warning because I called someone on trolling. I should have done the whole "report and move on"thing, and I didn't.

I had one warning I overturned successfully before the health bar was a thing.

I have to do very little to avoid mod wrath. I may not be a saint, but....
