Usually a smooth talking voice with an occasional british accent.

Or sometimes it sounds like Patrick Stewart, or Ron Perlman, or Liam Neeson, or Morgan Freeman.

And when that happens, it is awsome.

Lately I've been getting Yahtzee Croshaw's voice all up in my head. Sometimes it's my voice in a strange accent... as if the I was trying to say the words as I think the person typing them would say them. Does that make sense?

Most of the time, it sounds like my own voice, only quieter somehow.
The exceptions are for the people I've heard before.
The accent thread made reading posts more interesting.
Essentialy this.

EDIT: Also, for those who perhaps hear the Scouts voice when i post:

"Hey Knucklehead, stop reading this post and get on the point, Moron."

As soon as you "said" trolls I reread the sentence in Boxxy's voice. Guhhhh.

ideally it would be Patrick Stewart, however I'm not so lucky. I'm stuck with either my own voice, or if I've been up too long that of Pee-Wee Herman.

Oh god kill me now

I always imagined myself with the soft yet implying sort of tone. One you would use while making a dirty joke.

As for the inner voice of the OP, I imagined a douchey sounding 16-year-old (but only because you mentioned it.)

Like I normally read text?

Yea, there's not much difference between reading here or a book.

So I guess like myself but softer?

Also, now you got me paying attention to it. Damn it.

It changes depending on what I feel like and what the person is saying. Don't get offended, but when I read your post, you sounded like an intelligent woman. That is actually a first for me...hmmmmmmm.

Usually, the kind of voice I would imagine the avatar (or someone with that avatar) having. For example, camillou's "voice" would be a wierd combination of a suave ladies man and a British person.

Mine is usually angry at everything it's like a super troll of sorts. But then I remember that if I post it doesn't help and just starts a useless arguement.

It's my voice until I can catch a glimpse of their actual personality, then it usually becomes a cartoon or anime character >.>

Mine likes to find reasons not to like people, and then it reads posts in the same voice as the narrator from Fight Club.

Yeah, the actual person rarely if ever reflects the "voices" unless I happen to know the guy/girl/thing personally, since I rarely if ever delve into people's profiles. I wouldn't be surprised if I have every single person on this forum incorrectly pegged.

Well, I guess I'm not terribly disappointed at being a suave mustachioed ladies' man. It could be worse.

I have recently noticed something. Regardless of who's post I am reading, what they're avatar is, or what they are saying, my inner voice for these forums seems to be a douchey-sounding 16-year-old. I have no idea why this is, and I am not asking for answers as to why this is.

My question to the community is: What does your inner voice for forum-reading sound like, right now, as you're reading this?
I know you're not looking for answers, but I suspect it could be because you are a douchey-sounding 16-year-old? I'm just throwing it out there...

Personally, I just hear my own, extremely pleasant voice in my head... well, I think it's my voice... I'm hoping it's my voice.... what? kill who?
