Its my own voice until I find out more about the person. for instance, if it turns out to be a really whinny guy I end up giving him a voice that sounds something like a loud version of Gollum from Lord Of The Rings.

Ugh reminds me of my psycholinguistics class in college. As I asked then, I will ask again, "You people actually hear a voice when you're reading?"

I don't usually hear it as any special voice. Unless i have heard said user on the accent thread. Then it is their voice.

I try to read it in the voice I assigned each and every member. Depending on who typed it.

Yes, even youuuuuuuu.

That's interesting. It's a voice, the voice in which I read everything, even (especially?) my own writing, but it doesn't sound like my voice, or anyone else I can think of. Weird.

For all you people who said they look at the avatar...I don't really sound like Ryoko to you, do I? I always imagine myself a bit more level-voiced than she ever speaks.

Much like Soylent Green, mine varies from person to person. My eyes prettymuch assess what a person read, interpret the emotions behind it, factor in the avatar, and then give them a voice based on those criteria.

I mostly read with my own voice in mind, or at least what I hear when I talk. God knows that the voice I hear in recordings can't be me. However, when I'm reading something with horrible typing (See: Any Youtube comment) I tend to read it with a really stupid sounding voice in mind.

I just read in my weak Aussie accent that I only ever notice when I hear a non-Aussie accent. ... ... ... my inner voice sounds like me, but cooler.

Well, people I interract with a lot have their own voices, especially the Irish ones. People I don't know are voiced in my head by the sound of me narrating

Well, I don't have a voice.

I just have a presence speaking to me, without actually mentally speaking. Like it feels like something is talking to me, but in actuality is not making a single mental sound.

If you know what I mean.
Speaking without a voice. Almost as if you Comprehend the words without seeing them right?

OT: Sounds like me. Unless i choose to change the voice.
Yeah man, that's exactly it.
