Or, if I couldn't get anything by VAST, I'd go with "Horse With No Name", by America. I just like that song.

Or, if I just wanted to throw a complete figurative curve-ball, "Hell", by the Squirrel Nut Zippers (look it up).

What about "Where It Never Rains" by VAST? "We Will Meet Again" is a good choice.

And is it just me or is "Hell" by the SNZ just another version of their other song "Trou Macacque"? Sorry to digress, but I never usually get an opportunity to bring that up ;-)

Mmm Vast *drools*, though i think the 'Untitled' Track on Vasts self-titled album would be appropriate for me, i don't think i'd want lyrics in my funeral song.
