What's the fuss with that, the first time I played Mafia I completed it on my second attempt - not easy but nowhere near what people make it out to be in my opinion.

Mafia's also my most favourite game EVER. Take from that what you will, but I'm fairly sure my opinion isn't compromised...
Were you playing the original, unpatched PC version? All the others have the difficulty turned down.

Maero (red gang leader) from saints row 2.

I have never felt so much hate for a video game character before.
'

I guess my hatred for him settled after we threw his girlfriend in the trunk and..

..well you know what happens after that =3

Morte from Planescape: Torment. Even if you're smart enough (both in and out of character) and no matter what you try, you're always suspicious he'll do something to bite you in the ass. And most of the time, he does.

Bloody Necron from Final Fantasy IX. The bugger comes out of nowhere and I haven't actually beaten him to this day (granted, I've only tried twice and both attempts were on the same run-through of the game, but still- ARGLBARGLE).

I guess I'm mostly just bitter that Kuja isn't the last boss.

Yaaaaa, I wanted to kick the shit out of him the whole time. Especially because of how absurd his logic was in my game. I had left his gang for last, meaning I owned pretty much everything but his territory only for him to call me a Hasbeen? Then all the other shit too...
my only hated boss was The Nigerian boss dude. Only because the first time I was dumb enough to try chasing him instead of tossing sticky bombs on his hummer when it first showed up XD
Now I feel stupid because that guy always struck me as Jamaican but Nigerian makes way more sense though the Rastafarian stuff they were into still puts me on the fence as the General's nationality. I was pissed that I didn't get his limo...
We're BOTH wrong XD

The general is (According to the Wiki)
The Sons of Samedi are a Haitian and third rival gang.

Which makes them from the Indies.
The more you know :D
What's sad is that when I think of Haiti, my brain says Jamaica... Double fail on me cuz I should have gotten that right. D:

Dark Force. Tortured me like hell on the 2nd Phantasy Star. Then he tried to mask himself as the hilariously mispelled "Dark Falz" and proceeded to kick my ass on Phantasy Star Online but I saw through his disguise when I fought his third form. Me and my friend call him Dark Phallus thanks to the massive ass-kicking he has gave us, which is hilarious when you take into consideration that this was his name on the Japanese version of the first Phantasy Star. Well, according to Wikipedia anyway: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantasy_Star_%28video_game%29#Antagonists

Yeah, I played it a few years later as I was fairly young when it came out (and despite my pleading my Dad was probably right that it's not the best game for a 7 year old) but I never bothered patching it. And it was on the game disc that was bought near launch, so it couldn't of been interfered with in anyway for all you conspiracy theorists out there.

Then I tip my hat to a man with skill far greater than my own.

Who is the Medic? What game, i mean. And why shouldn't we trust him?

Another nemesis of mine would have to be any object that can explode and kill you. Red barrels, cars, energy blocks, whatever. All I know is that i usually die any time one is near me in sp or mp.

I hate random grenade tosses.

Quick Time Events. Not because I can't do them, but because I think they are absolutely unnecessary. I was already annoyed when they showed up in TR: Legend (The first game I played with them in), but to even have Arkham Asylum equipped with these annoying little pop ups hints to remind you to block really ticked me off after a while, especially given how much I loved that game otherwise.

Quick Time Events need to keel over and die, sooner rather than later.
