I did one, you did one, every gamer did one. What am I talking you ask? Well, a Gaming Capital Sin is a opinion you may have that is so contraditory to the general opinion that it could be considered a sin, like liking what it´s generally considered a reeeeeeally crappy game (Too Human, Duke Nukem Forever) or the oposite. It can be hating a fan favorite character (Ezio, I think), it can even be hating a certain mechanic, or gameplay.

For me... well, this is hard to admit, so here it goes... I don´t like Minecraft. I try really hard to like it, but I just don´t see the sparkle that other people see to praise the game like that.

Now that I have come clean, it´s your time. What are your Gaming Capital Sins?

Meh, that isn't really that bad. As amazing a game as Minecraft may be, like all other games it certainly won't appeal to everyone.
Mine would probably be enjoying and still actively playing MW2 to this day.

I really, really hate Uncharted. But I don't see it as a sin. I see it as an opinion and a right one at that. Though of course others will disagree. Opinions, funny old things aren't they?

I think mine would have been how I bought God of War 3 on its release and then never even played it. The only reason the package was even opened was because a friend came over and wanted to give it a try. I did the same thing to Gears of War 2... they've both been traded in since. Never played either.

Hmm, this is tricky. Not because I don't have one but because I'm not sure what would be considered to be one...I guess it would be the fact that I always but the next Call of Duty game no matter what people say about it. I've bought CoD: Finest Hour, CoD 2, and every single one since CoD 3...so it is a real shocker that CoD: MW3 is next on my list.

There's only two things I can think of that might qualify for this thread for me:

1) I honestly enjoyed The Legend of Spyro games (I think the fact that I didn't judge them based on the Insomniac trilogy helped.)

2) I liked Deus Ex: Invisible War (Again, I didn't judge it by its predecessor, but rather as a shooter on its own merits.)

I never finished PoP Warrior Within or Two Thrones. Bossfights were too annoying, looked them up on youtube.

I only finished Jedi Knight properly once. The other million times I played it, I played with cheats.

I don't love StarCraft or Deus Ex.

Wow, dude. Mind=blown. I don't want this to seem like I'm trying to make you see how blantantly wrong you are but you are missing out on a really good story; not wanting to play the multiplayer I can see even though it is worlds better than it was in Gears 2 but you should at least play the single player.

Zelda ocarina of time is the best zelda game . Anyone that says its due to nostalgia is an idiot because ive played all the zelda games before it and the all the zeldas after it and majoras mask didn't come out too long after OOT so why wouldn't majoras mask suffer from nostalgia goggles?

Also
final fantasy christal chronicals series suck .
Jrpgs are rpgs
Zelda is a rpg

I like COD campaigns, sometimes its good to relax for a few hours and watch stuff blow up wherever you aim.

If I'm playing multiplayer, and i happen to be on the team with a poor performing player, I'll quit the game rather then be on their team.

I don't really know how most people feel about this game in general, but I think this is a perfect time to profess my love for Style Boutique.
I absolutely love this game. It's ridiculous. I haven't played in a while, but it was so addicting when I first started playing.

I guess mine would be that I missed a big chunk of time - I had an Atari, then fairly later an NES, and then a SNES, and tons of games for all of them.

Never played N64, and the only PS1 game I played was the original Silent Hill, and this only on the PS2 much later. Missed that whole generation (or two, depending how you look at it).

Haven't played a single Wii game. Haven't played a PC-only game since Baldur's Gate 2.

Have never played online multiplayer since getting an Xbox back in 2003 or so....

I used a walkthrough to play Blue Dragon on the first attempt...not because it was hard but because i wanted to max all the achievements in one playthrough. I don't do that anymore until i've finished a game at least once.

I think Mass Effect 2 is one of the worst sequels ever.

I prefer turn based games to reaction games.

I think the single player campaign on all the Call of Duty games are excellent

I look down on PC gamers as the lowest form of gaming life

The list goes on and on...

Lol, the exact same thing happened to me. It's almost depressing how many games go unopened in my collection...

...I like "Fallout : Tactics" very much and consider it a worthy continuation of series.

Also i think that session of gastroscopy is far more interesting choice to spend time than playing Mass Effect.

Dragon age II is one of my favorite games

I returned Ocarina of time for 3DS because I found it boring (I'm not joking)

I enjoyed final fantasy XIII

I never finished final fantasy XII

I have a collection of about 100 games... 17 of which I've finished.
