Whilst playing games like Tf2 and counter strike. Whenever I get a kill I say eliminated.

Partly because I love Teru Mikami, Partly because i'm nuts...

Mine is that I bought Unreal Tournament 3 to play with bots, and do not play it online.
I did the same with Counter Strike.

My quirk would probably be that, when I play an FPS on a console, I have to be sitting in a chair leaning forward with my elbows on my knees. Otherwise, I feel like I can't control my character as well and thus play poorly.
dude me 2. it rly pisses me off cause it kils my back

I always make sure my character/city/civilization looks good regardless of how much power/money/good armor I have to ignore. Style always trumps substance in my book.

I always make a habit of playing the online game which is part of a main game for about 30 mins, then I play the main game for 1 hour or so, then back to online game for a good while.

This. It even applies to things like skill points / character points in Diablo 2. I've played the entire game through (normal difficulty) without spending a single skill point before.

If there's a weapon or an option in the game, I will use it.

Example. Just because, say, you really don't need any other weapons in Soulbringer after you get Messenger doesn't mean I'm not still going to carry around, at minimum, a Hex-Seeker staff, a spirit knife, a greatsword, a spear of some kind, a pickax, a mace/warhammer, and a sabre. And I will find excuses to use almost every spell in the game (save the ones that are well-and-truly worthless, like Flare or Spot Item).

Further, this applies to fighting games, as well. I will try to play unpredictably and use everything at my disposal. If I have a special move, I'm going to use it. I'm the one who uses Bridget's fixed-range super, Axl's post-counter super, and Anji's autoguard cancel super in Guilty Gear, or every one of Kyo's moves (including the Bite combos) in CvS2.

And if I'm fighting against someone else, unless I'm absolutely desperate, I will try to finish in the most spectacular manner possible. I'm the one who always tries for the Instant Kill in Guilty Gear, the Arc Drive/Last Arc finish in Melty Blood, the Dramatic K.O. in Capcom vs. SNK 2 (and if I'm playing Hibiki, I will, invariably, try to finish with No Fear Feint or Going My Way).

And, Bob as my witness, if I'm playing as Archer, I will finish the match with <url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-Zw783AhBM>Unlimited Blade Works. (it's at 3:45).

I'm a very paranoid saver. I save my game whenever I can. This isn't much of a problem in for example a JRPG where there are save points but if you have a quicksave button you can use anywhere I save about every five seconds.

If the characters talk (as in, voice actors) my immersion is BROKEN. Text, however, is fine. I don't know why this is.

Also, instead of snoozing in the morning (and oversleeping) I play a few rounds of Tetris on my DS. It makes me wake up in time.

I also compulsively level up characters in RPG-like games five levels at a time whenever I need to go somewhere new.

I always refuse to use any unfair advantage at all and i reload way to often. It becomes a problem in games such as battlefield 2 where you have mags instead of bullets if you see what i mean. I tend to reload at reflex even at 18 out of 30 shots. I also tend to roleplay a bit when playing immersive games such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or Oblivion. One of the things i do in Stalker for example is buying loads of vodka and go around drinking it and talking to NPCs even if i already heard what they have to say.

1) When playing a horror game or similar, I turn into the biggest sissy EVER! No matter how weak, no matter how far away, if I spot a zombie or other enemy, I scream at a level approaching the supersonic.

2)You know those stereotypical douchebag phrases you hear in online games? i.e. "pwned, n00b" "Suck It [expletive]face" etc? Yeah. I never EVER say them online. EVER. But I will constantly say them to NPC's in single-player games after I kill them...

Any game, where I go underwater, for any reason, once my avatar's head is submerged, I hold my breath. No idea why.

I also tend to restart five hours into an RPG because I suddenly had a better idea about how to level up faster.

Im not sure thats really a quirk...

but I'l play

When I play games I have to plug in a HDD and a mouse into my laptop, and I always plug the HDD/mouse into the usb slot OPPOSITE from where they are used- if that makes sense...

I can only play RE5 with my girlfriend. There are many reasons for it. But all in all I can't play well unless it's with her

Have to sit perfectly straight playing fighting games. If I'm lounging too much I get my arse kicked
That happens to me on street fighter! I thought i was the only person, lol, its nice to know I'm less of a freak than i thought i was. :p
And if I'm lying down its even worse.
It is like that for every game I play, expect PoP oddly enough.

i tend to bad mouth enemies I'm fighting at the moment and tend to yell at the charcters when they screw up. Also I tend to let my attachments to certian charcters get in the way of chossing a good party. It gets bad in games like pokemon, I can never take my starter out of my lineup no matter what.
