And here i am! I also did mile high culb for him. After doing it for me also.... i guess mile high club WAS my greatest never again ahievement. Now its my greatest NEVER AGAIN AGAIN achievement. Yay.PurpleLeafRave said:Modern Warfare on Veteran was easy. COD 4 on the other hand...
"No Fighting in the War Room" and the Ferris wheel level. *shudder*
I had to get a friend to do the last part of No Fighting in the War Room, because I raged so much. I did most of it and almost died (in real life not the game).
He's stalking me, so he'll probably reply in a minute...
yeah, but with the addition of Sitrep, my favorite perk, that is no longer a issueDTWolfwood said:i dont grind achievements, but the one i remember most and probably wont ever achieve again is the "What the?!" achievement in COD4:MW
shooting through 2 walls into an explosive and killing the man that planted the explosive. Still remember vividly how it happened! i was down stairs saw a dude run pass the door way upstairs, Shot through the stairs and doorframe and blew up the claymore he just placed by the door! Most Epic Achievement ever! XD
I didn't get all the achievements, i just made it from beginning to end without dying, and not on easy either. Some of the achievements are an exercise in one's self control to not break the controller.Truth. said:GOD, THIS. Any of the more challenging Ninja Gaiden II achievements are next to impossible without massive RAGE.peanutch said:Making it through Ninja Gaiden II without dying.
Yeah, the AC2 feathers weren't too wonderful.
Try getting 100 wins online, as a scrub, in what seems like ALL LEET PLAYERS, in SSF2HD Remix
Ah I haven't tried MW on Veteran yet, I will just as soon as I get it back from my girlfriend. But yea the Favela mission is fairly early on and (for me anyway) was the hardest level of them all. Where you have to rush through the favela's and it proved near impossibleRMcD94 said:Favela? I don't remember that being overly difficult.Xyliss said:When I tried that game on veteran it didn't seem too much more difficult. Except for the FUCKING FAVELA LEVEL!Captain Pancake said:Attaining all the veteran achievements on Modern Warfare 2. On that difficulty it turned a 5 hour game into a 10 hour one. Trying to complete the last part of contingency in only a minute and a half was the worst.
Gods, how I hate that level, hours of frustration and getting nowhere
Modern Warfare on the other hand.
HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG!
After almost two years of owning it (or something close to that), not completed about 30% of the levels on vet.
I... never had an issue with this. I seem to be the only one though.Kefkacultist said:Modern Warfare 1 on veteran. Specifically mile high club
yes....Tharwen said:Do you know if you have to get all the grubs in one playthrough?TheBlackKnight said:+1; though I still miss 1 stinkin grub >.<MrShowerHead said:Little Rocket Man
If so that's a decidedly dickish move from Valve...
I heard you on that. Mine didn't glitch though, and so after 3 straight days of nothing but clicking in the left analog stick, I was going mad. It also ruined my controller a little, because now it tends to lean forwards.twm1709 said:The Rockhound trophy on inFamous. I used a map and explored the entire city 3 times looking for a shard that never appeared (had to be some dort of glitch). Then I loaded another playthrough I had and used the shard a 4th time. This time I found it. Never want to play that again.
Really? I did it on my first playthough. It probably just comes down to natural style of play though: I'm more of a platformer than an FPS-er, so we'd probably have a different approach. Also, I'm very good at running away from bullets in games, because that's all I tend to do in LAN games with my friendslittle.09 said:test of faith: beat mirrors edge without shotting an enemy. wish i'd never tried
I didn't have a problem with that until the last level.little.09 said:test of faith: beat mirrors edge without shotting an enemy. wish i'd never tried
