test of faith: beat mirrors edge without shotting an enemy. wish i'd never tried
I didn't have a problem with that until the last level.
On a side note. Though I would re get these achievements the hardest ones I have gotten are climbing Agency Tower with the minimum lvl agility in Crackdown, killing like a thousand gang members in one life, Beating a campaign in L4D2 with only melee, just Ragin Cajun and Zombie Genocider in Dead Rising. The hardest part was waiting the +24 hours remaining when I got the achievement.

Blowtorch and Corkscrew on veteran in WAW. That particular achievement made me quit the that game for at least a month or two. Damn grenade spamming bastards.

Making 100% on GTA IV
But the worst "achievement" i have done is getting 100 in every skill in fallout 3 (no DLCs, especially bs)

ODST's Deja Vu achievement I NEVER want to do again. Ever. It took 20 COMPLETELY different tries and every time i almost made it before i rage quitted. Except the time i got it, i never even got to the part where you wait for the phantom to pick you up. 3 Main reasons, bad connections, poor timing, shitty team.

The Bigger they are in Fallout 3, finding all the Super Mutant Behemoths is bad enough but to find them all is a guide Dang it moment. I had to check my guide multiple times to make sure I find one who was in an area where I had to go though tunnel after tunnel...

Little Rocket Man...or at least I would have gotten it until the driving part of Half-Life 2, episode 2.... I just said Fuck it and chucked him out into the wood when he fell out of the car for the 15th time

Completing all the Advanced Portal Maps

Alright here is the thing, I had cheat codes on...yes yes, the cheat code to let me form a portal on any surface and to spawn a box....those maps even with them on was still a pain in the ass....

It would have to be MW2 veteran (Goddamn favela and the riot police were very tough in the airport, good thing for the fact that you can skip it :)) Uncharted 2, you die so very easily and the guardians are so difficult the first time you meet them. Fallout 3 was quite easy to get, use guides for bobble heads, and make one character and save at vital points for the "Raise an Evil, good, neutral, to level x" achievements. But the Spys 1000 saps was really difficult, and the worst one of all, was in assassins creed 2, I had 94% of them, and then my PS3 broke, and to get that last 6% i would have to start all over again, not cool, I had 68 feathers!

Also, almost every Disgaea 3 Achievement, 10 billion damage?! thats ridiculous, while if you have the time you can get over 3 trillion, it takes hundreds of hours, also, floors 1-100 in a land of carnage Item world, without a break. DOOD. BTW in the LOC every enemy is ridiculously overpowered and every one can one shot any character, so you have to hope they miss you, and you can rarely heal, and you cant save, its just unfair. Thank god I lent it to someone over the summer holidays, or I might become addicted.

This and 'Heart of the Reich', namely the Part where you have to Blowup the 4 Anti-Tank Cannons, Took me 3 hours of Grenade Spam death to get through that...

The "Little Rocket Man" achievement from HL2:EP2. It allowed me to replay EP2 again, which was nice; but having to completely change my approach for half of the game was... less so.
I've done it twice because it didn't work the first time.
Most people complain about the helicopter chase...
but I figured out how to skip the advisor sequence and make the helicopter not appear at the first long run.
Ignore the music, I found it amusing at the time :D
lol nice video
I might give the achievement a try, but blehhh idk...

really any achievement for me when I have to collect stuff (like say around 100)
never wanna do those again

i dont grind achievements, but the one i remember most and probably wont ever achieve again is the "What the?!" achievement in COD4:MW

shooting through 2 walls into an explosive and killing the man that planted the explosive. Still remember vividly how it happened! i was down stairs saw a dude run pass the door way upstairs, Shot through the stairs and doorframe and blew up the claymore he just placed by the door! Most Epic Achievement ever! XD
yeah, but with the addition of Sitrep, my favorite perk, that is no longer a issue
yet another reason y 1 was superior to 2 :p achievements felt like u achieved something.

U are mad! sitrep! hah Cold Blooded Pro and the infinite sprint one (haven't played for like 6 months) are best! no uav, and no claymores blowing up in your face! o and no getting picked off by sniper while hiding in tall grass. :p

It's not PS3 or Xbox but the Killing Floor Achievement for Suicidal on Bedlam, I think there's only like 5 other people who have ever gotten that... and they were in the same server I was in when I did it. Truly the hardest game accolade I've seen, on any system.

The Guardian Gnome on L4D2. I did it on single player and I officially hate the AI.

Rough Economy on Call of Duty: World at War, I wasn't trying for the achievement, I was just overwhelmed by zombies and randomly fired off a Sniper Rifle round and ta-da Achievement unlocked, it was honestly a fluke and I'd more than likely never be able to do it again.

Also trying to reach the level up with a certain Karma rating on Fallout 3, god it's easy to stay evil or good but it's insane trying to stay neutral the whole damn time. You never know how hard it is to level up until you are actually going for those achievements.

L4D(2) on expert. Gah... I'm still recovering from the RAGE.
When I tried this with 3 friends, We were playing dead center, and during the finale (which took us 4 hrs to get to) I was incapped in the safe area by the car. A friend was helping me up whilst the last person was coming so we could finish the campaign. The meter was full and i was on my way to standing when he entered and the cinematic kicked in. I thought we all passed it, but in the credits, it said in memory of: TH3 CURS3D ONE (me [rage face]) Phat Cougar (friend who was assisting me) Haven't played on expert since.

OT: For me it was the one Halo 3 achievement where we had to finish the last part of Halo (the last level) in ghosts with 4 people in ghosts on legendary with iron on. It was fun in its own twisted way, but i won't do that again anytime soon.

FEAR - Real Time. I've done a lot of hard stuff just for the sake of trying it, like the commonly mentioned Test of Faith in Mirror's Edge, or Little Rocket Man in HL2:Ep2. Real Time is hands down the hardest thing I have ever done, and I won't recommend anyone ever try it.

The achievement is this: Beat the game on any difficulty except Easy without ever using Slo-Mo. If you've ever played FEAR, you know how stupidly brutal the damage you take is. Let alone how smart the AI is about flanking you if you hide. It is ridiculously hard, nothing has made me that angry as when I spent a week doing it.
I did that while getting the Survivalist and No Juice achievements at the same time. The Slo-Mo was the least of my problems, as far as I was concerned. Accidentally bumping into a reflex or health booster, however...

*topic* Completing Bullet Witch on Hell mode. The enemies have lightning reflexes, take several clips to kill even the simplest of grunts, and are capable of one-hit killing. All for 1 achievement point.
