There are a lot of games that I have not played and would love to try out.

But there are also plenty of games that are hidden away, begging to be played, that didnt get the spotlight they probably deserved.

I want to know what your hidden gems are! The hidden games, the lesser known titles, that you adore and think deserve more recognition!

Heroes of Might and Magic: Dark Messiah

Seriously, that game is REALLY under-rated. It was amazing. I really really want to see another one like it.

Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. I remember playing and loving this game as a kid. Granted, half the time I didn't know what the hell was going on, and the other half I used cheats, but it was still fun, and that's all that matters, right?

Just to show some awesomeness from it, here is a video, it is a song from a bonus room in the game. :)
That. Was. AWESOME! I now must play that game. :D

You know, as far as being OT goes, if you have access to a PS2 and a copy of Jade Cocoon 2, I'd say play it. It was a relaxing little game, with a surprisingly dark story (in fact, about five separate dark stories, if memory serves, at least one of which really tugged the heart strings) and enjoyably standard RPG mechanics.

Yup, that one is classic. Hate those spiders, but the rest is awesome. Btw: there's a secret place in the cave where you impale that giant cyclop - Garrets thief armor is hidden there (use the rope bow).

One of the greatest games you've never played. Also, its prequels. Those were stupid fun, too. But alas, not many people have played it. Everyone I met online for co-op was just as surprised to find out there were actually others who loved the series.

Oh, it is. It's ridiculously fun. Also, I don't recall if it's in the video, but every single building you see? Destructable.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun once you earn enough to unlock the mega weapons, which pretty much level an entire block in one go.

One that really comes to mind is Pathologic, a very surreal and atmospheric FPS-adventure. Despite outdated graphics, some very poor translation and a rather unbalanced combat system, it really draws you into the mysterious world you're presented with. It's definitely not for everyone though, as some could easily get bored with it after a while due to the rather slow pacing.
