The Titanic was built here. Mind you, it did sink...
Game of Thrones was filmed here.
Battle of the Bone, Belfast's "first Kung-Fu movie" and "The Belfast Zombie Movie" was, strangely enough, made here.

Van Morrison, Colin Morgan (who played "Merlin" in the Merlin series), Patrica Quin (who starred in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Shock Treatment), members from Snow Patrol were all born here.

God, I hate Snow Patrol.

Pretty sure my home town was the location of one of the largest saw mills in the US, but I can't confirm that as of now

I live in Portland Oregon, the home of nirvana and the largest amount of tattoo parlors per capita. Also it's been voted the fourth weirdest city in the USA. Go Portland!

Home town of The Trogs, a once famous band who did Wild Thing.

Baptism place of an ancient viking king.

Home of the workhouse scandal that lead to the Municipal reform act of 1835. This one had lead people to claim "Andover inspired Oliver Twist". I checked that one out; it's false.

Toronto. We have the CN tower. That's pretty cool. Like...it's tall and tower shaped.
Wow that sounded a lot worse than it did in my head.
What about when Toronto was still called York? It got blown up in the war of 1812. That's something.
Meh. It got burnt down. Not that interesting.

Edmonton Alberta, West Edmonton Mall as said earlier, Bioware operates out of here, but everyone here also seems to have forgotten that Nathan Fillion was born and raised here as well.

It's also the heart of Queens! Also notable for the Kevin James comedy series, King of Queens, and the majority of the Eddie Murphy film Coming to America! We also make the best Italian ices ever, according to the signboard outside Gino's Pizzeria on 37th st. (also grew up in Astoria).
