yeah because RPG's are'nt borign or anything they pull you in especially when they are turn based I just love that and Fallout 3 is the most unoriginal game I mean about every game is in post apoycolyptic D.C. and Vats, that is in like every game these days, and it never pulls you in what with your bland character and lack of many dramatic choices, and was way more boring and fun killing compared to the other two games (tactics and BoS didnt count) It was so unintresting and poorley written and did NOT skull fuck the other fallout games (sarcasim)
He said Wasteland of the Onseis because he is a picky little ***** and was complaining about how in fallout 3 when you put on an outfit it is always a complete outfit shirt, pants, shoes etc. you can't mix it up, even though he should appreciate the very large amount of outfits to choose from compared to most games where the choice does not even exist.
Ok you know how Fallout 3 was about perfect, well just keep that system except with a diffrent place, plot, people, and new weapons, armor and partners along with new decisions as difficult or more so than FO3 and maybe new cretures, make the landscape a little more than just the remains of vegas and desert, have intresting and unique places (my only real complaint about FO3 was the lack of variety.
Well, huh, I think you were trying to make a point that had nothing to do with what I was saying, aside from the obvious "SKULL FUCK" remark and to that I say that you completely mistook what I was saying. I defend "Fallout 3" as a good game, I enjoy it, do I find it anywhere near as fun or immersive? No. Because, even without turn-based combat and nearly completely text-based dialouge it still failed to make me feel like anything I did mattered. Okay. I blew up Megaton. Whoopity shit.
The focus of the "Fallout" series was that everything was effected by your choices and your stats, neither seem to have much bearing on how this entry was played. Beleive it or not, that's what I FUCKING WANTED! If I wanted to play "Oblivion" again, that's what I would have done.
I never once retorted that "Fallout 3" was a rip-off of anything, but, if we're going to get technical, a million and one games are set in "post-apocalyptic" comewhere or another and, believe it or not, the VATS system has been in every "Fallout", all it did was turn your happy action-heavy gameplay into nothing more than the same turn-based combat you're bitching about. It's all numbers and, OMG, guess what an RPG is?
"Fallout 3" is sloppy. It isn't a great action game because it sacrifices too many action qualities for RPG perks and vice-versa. On top of that, they sacrificed qualities that the "Fallout" series is known for, effectualy making it less of a "Fallout" game altogether. Some of us have fun exploring, meeting characters who are actually interesting, facing some actual difficulty and playing through a story that is actually affected by our deciscions. That may not be you, Micheal Bay, but some of us enjoy that. So some of us found it a sore disappointment. Some of us like a good game and don't need action to keep us playing.
Your character WAS boring. The story WAS boring (and unoriginal). The characters WERE poorly written.
Eat your sarcasm, honkey.
