Am I the only one here with everything in 'scramble' positions? I am able to flee the house with everything from keys to HDD within of a moments notice blindfolded.
I also have a Bo Staff by the bed in case of burglars and/or Velocaraptors...

Let's see: well, there's my Laptop, my phone (or at least a phone, to call the fire brigade) I'd leave my iPod... My 360 and all of it's wires and games (which are all in one box because I'm having rennovations done and there's dust going EVERYWHERE). Maybe My collection of rare coins? But by now I've probably run out of space to carry stuff in my arms...

MY hard drives, my Xbox 360 HD, my Wii and my GC controllers. My hard-drives have too much crap to d/l again, same for my Xbos and Wii. Also, Gamecube controllers are a ***** to find. All my games and films can burn as I have a complete list of both stored on my e-mail and hard drive (yes, i'm that sad)

If it were somehow possible I'd take the fire out of the house instead of the stuff in it. I think that'll prove more efficient in the long run.

Failing that, I'd take my laptop and all of my guitars. Oh and my puppy, I couldn't live without him.

Edit:Forgot that my dog counts as an "obvious answer". Okay. less obvious? I dunno, my entire sword collection so I can stab whoever started the fire, or at least roast some sausages on them kebab style.

The hard drives.

Everything else I can claim back on insurance, but I've an insufficient data backup plan, so I'd need to quickly pull the hard drives out of my xboxes and PC, probably just grab the laptop, then let everything else burn.

Then neglect to mention that I recovered a overpriced console hard drive before the fires consumed them.
Haha, you and I think alike mate. This was my precise idea although in my case I would just grab my PC tower (not even trying to pull the hard drive out of it), my 360 hard drive, PSX and PS2 memory cards, the rare games that are difficult/impossible to replace and my strategy guide bin. The rest can burn while this stuff is all stashed somewhere as I collect the insurance and upgrade everything I use to own. :D

My PC has a RAID array and a hot-swap hard-drive chassis, so i'd grab the 3x HDDs i'd need to recover the array on the way out of my room, then anything else pickupable on the way out.
(obviously family is orders of magnitude higher priority than any of that though, so depends on circumstances)

My mp3 player, because all my CD's are on there and I can claim them on the insurance, but it would take ages to get them all back on the mp3 player; and I think that's it. Everything else I can claim back, and I don't own much of sentimental value.

Wait! No. The stuff I've managed to get from gigs (drumsticks and setlists), and all my tickets/wristbands. Oh, and now that I've sorted all my stuff from my 18 years of life, a story that I wrote back in primary school where I was on a desert island with a couple of other people, one of them got their leg blown off by a landmine, but thankfully I had an artificial leg with me! And my yearbook.

PS3, PC, Wii, and TV. I have a window in my room and could kick out the screen and throw these all outside in a few minutes.

my wallet, my car keys, my xbox 360, my xbox 360 games, my phone, my laptop, some clothes, and a knife so that i can finally kill our F***ing dog and blame it on the fire.
So why wouldn't you just leave your dog in there and then the fire would actually be responsible?

Just, everything really. Then I'd put the fire out by my manly self and then put everything back. And continue with whatever the hell I was doing.
